I'm planning to attend a college that offers Air Force ROTC and graduate as a second lieutenant. However, I'd like to know what kind of jobs would be available to me once I do graduate. Could I be a doctor? If so, would I have to go to med school at some point? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have notified the hospital, lab and all others involved to let them know I did not have insurance or a job. I have been searching for work and haven't found any one to hire me yet. I am now getting calls from collection agencies which I believe are harming my chances for getting employment. What can I do?

How long does it take to become a pediatric nurse practitioner and what are the requirements, starting from the freshman year of college (i.e. start with a nursing major and take it for four years to obtain a BSN, do internships really help, what specific type of graduate school, etc)? Also, from your own perspective, is this a challenging career to study and actually work in? I heard that being an RN itself is a rewarding job, and I really would like to know more about this career. Thanks =)

Clinton proposes that everyone be responsible for carrying health insurance, and that she 'sees a day when showing your health insurance card will be part of a job interview'. How is this to benefit the american people and keep the insurance co. and stock holders from robbing us blind?

My husband has been having chronic lumbar pain for about a month now and has been in and out of not only the doctors office, but also the emergency room. He's missed a lot of work, and could now possibly lose his job. He is a chef and woks in a kitchen 40+ hrs a week. He's been perscribed Flexeril 10mg, Vicodin 500mg and 750mg, Motrin 800, Tramdol 50mg, and Robaxin 750mg. Im starting to get worried that this is going to hurt his body more, seeing as how it doesnt help much. He has recently had a nerve test done, but the results just show mild pain. He's at the point where he'd rather be paralyzed than in this kind of pain. The doctors wont give him a MRI (if that would even help). Im wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms and if so, what was the outcome? What steps should we be taking?

During our last trip to a Children's hospital, we received outstanding service from the entire staff. I want to brag on them for a job well done but I am having a hard time finding out who I should attention my letter to. When I call the hospital, they only refer me to a "patient representative" type department. Do you have any suggestions?

I would like to become a Radiology Technologist. Do I need to go to school for a Associates Degree or can I just get Certified (what's the quickest way to become one)? What are some good schools in Chicago? How much will it cost? Can you give me a quick description of what a Radiology Technologist does in a day? What aspects do you like or dislike about the job? How much is the starting salary?

I know there is a way the state of colorado is sposed to give federal funding to children like my daughter who have major delays for a full day of kindergarten. The district saying it doesn't exist and I know I'm being lied too But the state of colorado and this school is giving a full day of kindergarten to children who are illegal for free. I asked why at the IEP meeting and the princible denyed the program on there website exisited. It even said full day kindergarten for ESL, they go for free! Yey, they want my husband and I to pay for a full day of kindergarten for my daughter who she has a delay in 6 areas. She is getting therpies at school but she is only in class 40? Her school day is only 2 hrs 50 mins -60?or therpy out of class. Besides sueing and calling the newspapers is there a way to give my daughter a full day of school? I have another meeting. I've been told I'm doing a better job at getting services for my daughter than most here. I ask to have here therpies at another time and they said I would have to pick her 3 times and drop her off 3 extra times a day just to get her therpies, plus her riding a bus 1 a day added. Her IEP in another state was different a full day of school w/ her thepies, no circus. They won't tell me if any other program are out there at the IEP meeting. I don't feel like they want to tell me any other options bec. they would have to spend more money. She was sposed to be tested 3 monthes ago for PDD and Audio processing disorder and they still haven't tested her. I findly got her in to see a pyhscologist in couple of weeks. My insurance is paying for it, so I can finf out what is wrong with her. Since they are taking there sweat time

My daughter's biological father has not payed child support since he signed the paperwork in November. She is two years old and he has never been a part of her life. Suddenly he ''lost his job" and says the economy is so bad he cannot find work, therefore resulting in him not paying. I have contacted DHS, the Child Support Agency, and him...nothing has been done. Does he lose his right to visitation after so many months of non-payment? Any suggestions? The only bad thing about this d-bag is that since he hasn't had anything to do with her, or TRIED to have anything to do with her, he already owes almost 10 grand in back child support. He is supposed to pay $450 a month (that is with a $100 addition to start chipping away at his back child support) And for the record he wasn't that kind of guy when we met...when I got pregnant he ran off and left me. Real nice.
