I'm 33 years old and looking to go into the physical therapy field. I would like to become a physical therapy assistant and am looking into getting a 2 year degree from a DelTech University. I would like to know if it is hard to get a job in this field. The average pay for this position. Also would it be hard to get into this field at my age? Basically I would like to get the pros and cons of this field or any other information you find pertinent. Thanks in advance :)

I recently got accepted into a Physical Therapy Assistant program and I was wondering if I should also get a BS in Physical Education with a concentration in Health and Exercise Science. I heard that it looks better for when you get a job but I talked to a girl that's already in the PTA program and she said it really didn't matter if you got a BS in Health and Exercise or not. Is that true? So i'm basically just wondering is it worth it to do the Health and Exercise Science major also? Thanks!

I am thinking about switching job fields and want to work on being a physical therapist. I have an associates degree in Graphic Design but want to use that with being a physical therapist. Kind of like an art therapist. But I want to find a job that can train me as well as go to school for it. Is there something out there like that?

I will be 40 in a few months and have been working in an administrative field for over 20 years. In the last few years I've had aspirations of going back to school to obtain a Funeral Director's license. These two fields are comparitively very different. What results did you have when you made the change? Do you have regrets?
