The only therapist job i know that doesn't require a masters or higher is a music therapist, which i'm not interested in. It seems like everything else is a masters or higher. I want to work as a therapist for children. But there's no way i can afford getting a masters degree i don't think :/ i'm still in highschool right now, but i would really like to find a career i can do that i'll love.

I looked at various therapist jobs online and I think a mental health counsolar is what I would best be suited as so I need help in figuig out what classes to take in high school (a freshmen in highs hook currently) and what collages will help me in my career path? Thank you please if you are going to just say things unhelpful don't post it on my answer like spelling and grammar. it is really hard to when you are new to i phones and don't pay attention when auto correct does thing like that. You honestly cant say i have problems when you aren't 100?orrect yourself. (i am actually quite good at spelling and punctuation but you wouldn't know that because you cant read.....remember? i am a freshmen in high school?) so don't mess with people when they are trying to decide their futures.....anyone reading this please report him?

I’m a little confused about the nature of the therapist-client relationship. The therapist is supposed to remain impartial and not really get involved with patient. The therapist is not your “friend.” The amount of progress you make with the therapist depends solely on the individual’s effort and not on the therapist’s; only you can help you. So, if somebody was referred to a therapist because they were feeling suicidal but felt he/she couldn’t be helped and therapy wouldn’t benefit him/her, it’s not the therapist’s job to tell them otherwise, right? I mean, it’s ultimately the client’s choice whether or not to continue with the therapy, right? “Checking in” via e-mail or phone would be crossing the line in a therapist-client relationship, right?

Right now I am volunteering in an adaptive physical education program and am trying to decide if this is what I truly want to do. I really enjoy the work I'm doing currently and would love to do this as a career, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to find a decent job in this profession. Is this a hard profession to get into? I know you need a degree I'm transferring as a junior in the fall and am deciding on a major.

I have heard that in the future, Respiratory Therapists jobs will be replaced by Registered Nurses. Is this true? The local college offers this course and it's not full where RN and Radiology Tech courses have a 2 year waiting list. I want to take this but if it's going to be replaced, I don't want to invest the time and money to be simply laid off. Thank you in advance!

I have to write an 8 paragraph essay about my career choice. It is a Deaf Therapist. This job is not very common, so researching it is kind of hard. I need to know a little bit about what they do, how my career will impact peoples lives, and what are some pro's and con's with this job. Websites would be very helpful. Thank you!
