Such healthcare jobs like nurses, techs, aids, clerks, billing, coding. I am disliking my job and the people I work with and want to look for a better job but I don't know if its a good time to quit and try to find another job with this economy. It looks like most direct patient care jobs require lifting of over 50 lbs. This could entail lifting a 300 lb. patient by oneself. What healthcare jobs involving direct patient care (or indirect care) do not require heavy lifting? Are there any accommodations provided to assist with heavy lifting for the healthcare jobs that do require the lifting?

I'm applying to a nursing school, and already have a full time job. Are there any healthcare jobs that don't require certification, or little? if not, any job at all? I will volunteer if there isn't, but I really need the money.

I want to eventually work in a hospital or any healthcare establishment where I'm working to improve patient quality and patient care. I want to make sure everything is running smoothly, nothing is slipping through the cracks, and that most patients are happy from the time they enter the hospital to the time they leave. What type of healthcare job is this? What type of education do I need to get in this type of position? Thank you.

I have a bachelor's degree in biology but can't find a job. I'm thinking of entering the healthcare field, because of supposed job availability. I'm finding a lot of jobs that require a two year associates degree, which would make my bachelor's degree totally useless, and jobs that require doctorates, which would take too long. Are there healthcare jobs that require a masters degree? Something like physical therapy? What else?

Malpractice law? I really want to have a career in law, but everyone is telling me that law is a saturated market. However, if healthcare jobs are so plentiful--and more people choose to go into healthcare--doesn't that mean there will be higher occurrences of malpractice and ultimately a more lucratice career for malpractice/health lawyers? Do you think this would be a wise field to choose when looking at the job market? Any advice is appreciated!!!

The government(state and federal) spends money on things we all need.. law enforcement, roads and bridges, education, military, healthcare, jobs, etc. Things everyone wants. Cutting taxes would mean we would have less money to pay for all of these things. Our economy would shrink, our infrastructure would deteriorate,we would have no influence around the world, and we would become a third world country.

I'm a high school student, 16 years old, looking for a part time summer job. I've been toying with the idea of becoming a cart boy at a golf course, but heard this would be better pay and give me a small look into medicine which might be a possible career path for me. What does this job entail? Are there any other healthcare jobs you might recommend for a teenager, such as a nonmedical assistant? Thanks
