I am a stay home mother and homeschool educator. My husband says that I do have a considerable job on my hands with these tasks. I would like to show him how much my time is worth though. He is a auto body technician and says that he would be paid considerably more than I. Is there somewhere that I can find a way to break down what i do to add up a total price?

I was thinking of enlisting in the Army after High School or during my college years but I wanted to know what types of jobs are there in the army. I don't know if I want to be an infantry man or on the frontlines. Or does being in the Army officially mean you'll have to be an infantry man or on the frontlines?

Every time I take my clothes to the dry cleaners my shirts, at least 1/2 to 2/3's of them, come back with huge creases in spots where they shouldn't be. Some of them just look ruffled, like they were thrown into a heap and then rehung. Some of the seams or pockets are shiny. My question is, should the shirts come back looking like they are brand new or is that unreasonable? Honestly, most of the shirts would look better if I laundered them and tried to iron them.

What were the kinds of jobs that people had in the 1960s? Were there any jobs before that isn't available anymore right now like milkmen? I tried searching on google but I couldn't find the information I wanted... Maybe I just can't think of the right thing to type... Please help? Thank you for everyone's answers! I can't choose the best answer since I was able to use a little of everyone's so I'll just leave the decision up to voters... :)

What did women go to work doing? What did they start skimping on? And for some reason I keep getting answers about the England home front when I ask this. I'm asking for American history please!

I'm in the States. Do a lot of gas stations have shower facilities that truckers can use? Do they stay in a motel every two or three nights to shower? Do the pull their rigs up next to a laundromat weekly? I hear truckers in North Dakota are pulling in six figures thanks to the oil and natural gas boom. I would consider a career change if I wouldn't have to compromise my arguably excessive personal hygiene habits.

I don't want to know how they tried to solve the women's suffrage in the 1960's, I WANT to know if they couldn't vote or all that stuff. I will also take right restrictions for ethnic minorities like blacks I guess. Oh and when I ask these questions, I'm talking about in America.
