 | I am looking to become a night auditor at a major hotel in NYC. I was just wondering if anyone had any details, qualifications, or requirements that are common in night auditor jobs. Also an average wage would be nice to see as well.
Any experiences and advice would be nice too, I want to make sure the work is not going to be out of my league.

 | I'm an insomniac so it was easy for me to start my job as a custodian for a restaurant at night. I'd like to get a different job at the same time of day like a Night Auditor at a hotel. Would this be a good job for me?
What kind of qualifications do I have to have to do this?

 | I'm an accounting major and I recently got a job as night auditor for my school's hotel. Is this a job worth doing? Will recruiters pay attention to the fact that I
1. Work nights (which most accountants might end up doing during tax season)
2. Managed a hotel's finances.

 | I am only wanting to work night shift jobs right now and am just needing some ideas as to what type of work is out there that would be just night shift positions? I can think of a few, like Security, or Night Auditor at a hotel, but am still wanting to know of other options out there that I can look in too. Any position or shift. Thanks

 | I have general office experience in a library and also as a hotel clerk (night auditor and day shifts too). I'm interested in being an administrative assistant. What do I need to do? What to learn? Where do I look for these jobs?

 | I work for a hotel and I have different jobs at different times. I am a full time employee and my official pay as night auditor is 10.75 per/hr.. but I occasionally have to work front desk and then I clock in at front desk and I only make 9.75.
In the state of washington can they deduct my official pay grade for a different job within the same company?

 | In the civilian life there are jobs such as security guard, night auditor, overnight care taker in homes for disabled, in which you can have a good chunk of free time to use the Internet with your laptop.
What about in the military? Are there such jobs? If so, what are the job titles?

 | He was in the Navy 5 years, assistant manager at a cinema for a while, and a hotel night auditor for several years. He recently graduated with his BA in philosophy, as well as his MBA in Global Business Management. He is also a rather hardcore misanthrope, which makes social jobs rather difficult to stomach.

 | I am an hourly worker at a hotel. I work graveyard shift for around 4 months now.
I was started at a lower wage during the "probationary period" of 90 days.
I can't say I've been exemplary, but I'm also consistent and in a constant state of improvement over my time here. I also make around $2 an hour less than the state average for a night auditor in this class of hotel.
Should I email a request? Should I wait for the 6 month mark?
Or just suck it up and be happy I have a job I legitimately enjoy in this state of economy?
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated,
Thank you.

...and I suck at people skills I get all flustered when people start asking me questions!
Any help? any ideas on what would be a better job for me?

 | I got this overnight job as a night auditor at a hotel and wanted to ask if this is a good job while I try to get my real estate career going. I mean, are the hours okay for me to still handle my real estate deals.
Thank you in advance!

 | I'm majoring in accounting and only have 2 semesters to go before I graduate. All my work experience is fast food/retail. From what I can tell, training is provided. I really want this job but I'm not feeling too confident.

 | "Briefly describe the projects that you have managed individually or as a team member."
This is on an application for a hotel night auditor.
I have never had a job in this field before and I have only ever had one job before, at JC Penney's.
What could I answer for this question. All I ever did at Penney's was work the cash register and fitting rooms.
I'm not sure what they mean by "projects"
