I have been an employee with a PRN status for 8 months now, but I do work a full 40 plus a week since I have started. I have a permanent schedule which is full time, but my supervisor insists that our unit (in a hospital) does not have a full time position available. As a PRN i am not eligible to eliglbe for benefits or paid time of which I need. I contacted our HR department which has lead me now where, what can I do?

1. You plan a workshop to teach newcomers to Canada how to use word-processing software. Unfortunately, only four people have registered and you are required to have a class of ten. You really feel that the training is important but are worried about the financial consequences. It is five days before the class is scheduled to begin. What do you do? 2. You have a conflict with someone who is senior to you and is not your supervisor. Describe how you would handle it

I'm leaving for BMT soon. My job is Security Forces. How do I become a dog handler? If I sign a 6 year contract I will get a $2,000 bonus and my rank will go up. What's the fastest way to become a dog handler, with the 4 year contract or the 6 year contract?

I have an interview in two weeks for an program at my college where we do anything from give tours, be ushers at events, do things with alumni, etc. We are pretty much the "face of the school", model students rather. There are 77 applicants for 15 slots. It's highly competitive, I've already turned in the application with a resume and a personal statement as to why I am doing it and what skills I have to bring to the team. Now that you have the background information can you please give me typical interview questions and random interview questions that you might have had during interviews. Also any tips and advice are welcome. I haven't done many interviews (I'm only a freshman). Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to work out the thinking behind supermarkets laying off staff and replacing them with self-serve checkouts. Say the rate is £7 per hour, and the store opens 16hrs per day. That's £112 per day the store "saves" on wages. Surely management can't be so naive as to think that there won't be at least that much theft every day?

I have been reading online about air force security forces expeditionary units such as the 732nd ESFS and was wondering how to either volunteer or increase my chances of being part of a unit like that. Would choosing certain bases on my dream sheet for duty stations help? I'm currently in the dep program and would like some more info on getting in these units. Thank you.

I work with disabled adults whose parents (who are legal conservators) want them doing vocational training. However, some of the clients don't understand that they are volunteering labor in a for-profit business. In fact, some of them don't want to do the "training" which consists of several hours of unpaid manual labor. My supervisors want me to go with the wishes of the parents, but I feel that the clients are being exploited under the guise of "training." I don't understand why it's necessary to teach sweeping and mopping in a for-profit business setting when the individual tasks of a job could be taught in a separate setting. @JMITW--they are essentially performing the same tasks over and over for months...tasks like mopping, sweeping, folding pizza boxes, etc. My clients' mental ages are from 3-years old to 10-years old, at the most. Most of them are unable to consistently spell their own names correctly and some are completely non-verbal. None of them are capable of independent living. Some live with their parents and some in group homes and most will never live independently or never be in charge of their own money. @JMITW--yes, that's the politically correct argument that's been feeding the trend. However, I see a huge problem with a one-size-fits-all approach to the "disabled." I do not make the assumption that they are "taking pride" in mopping because they are disabled. I do not make the assumption that they are being "treated like children" if they don't have the capacity to understand that they are volunteering their labor. It is very dangerous to lump all "disabled" people into the same category. I don't work with the "disabled community," I work with individual people.

I'm considering cross training into the load master career field. I have 10 years in and I'm a TSgt. Ideally I'd like to be a C-17 load master. What can I expect once I get through the pipeline and assigned to a base? I really want to fly so how much flying can I expect being a cross trainee at that rank?
