 | A couple of months ago I interviewed and was rejected for a compensation analyst position. The company now has the position listed again and I would like another chance. The hiring manager gave me her card after the interview, so I have her contact information, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate to ask her to consider me again.
Any advice?

 | What kinds of jobs are available for those with a Masters in Human Resources? Also what kind of wage can be associated with the positions? Is there a better region of the country to look in for a well paying Human Resources position?

 | Hi everyone. I recently graduated with my Master's degree in Marketing Communication. I have been told I received a position as a market analyst, but we have not negotiated a salary yet. I have been working for the company as an intern for 5 months.
What do you think is a reasonable hourly wage for both me and my employer? All of the market analyst outlooks only include information on median wage—not entry level (5 months) with a Master's degree. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 | I graduated from college with a bachelors of mathematics in spring of 06 and last year I taught as a high school teacher. I want to explore other career options but I am having trouble finding the right fit. I do not have a drivers lisencse so a job requireing internal travel is not an option for me at this point. Where can I go to find jobs with so little experience, no driving experience, a bachelors in math, and decent enough pay to make a living. (I am thinking about 35k a year or more).

 | I am considering a position as the technical analyst dedicated to the executive group at a financial corporation in Minneapolis. I would provide desktop and Blackberry support for about 80 people including the CEO, CFO and other high-level executives. I am wondering what people’s thoughts are on fair compensation for this position. And, if there is anyone else in a similar role that would be willing to share their approximate compensation.
A couple other details - The company is in the Mortgage business and has around 20,000 employees. Also, it would not be a direct employment with the company. A large national IT firm has a contract with them to be the in-house desktop support. The company I would be employed with pays well, 50K plus for other (non-executive) desktop support positions.
New details- The position is paying 22.45/hour. 8-5 Mondy-Friday, no after hours on-call. One week paid vacation and 6 paid holidays. Having about four years of experience in technical support this compensation is far below what I believe to be market. I am looking for another job.

 | I have an interview at Fannie Mae for an entry-level analyst position. I can't imagine it being as intense of an interview as it has been when the company was doing better.
Any advice on what to expect? Should I be so bold as to ask about the job security and company stability? I believe I'm an above-average candidate, if offered a position, should I negotiate a better compensation package for taking a risk on them? What's the protocol for joining a sinking ship when everyone else is jumping off?
