Right now my focus is Human Resource Management for my Business degree but I was wondering if I should pick a different major. I would love a job somewhere in education maybe as a principal, or maybe a government job since I was in the military. Accounting is just too much math for me. Will I be able to find any good jobs with a Human Resource degree in the NY area or should I change?

A relative of mine is a Human Resources Consultant and I have been interested in business lately and I have been looking for a summer job so he said I could work as an intern and personal assistant for him. I have no idea what I should expect, I've never had a summer job before and I don't want to embarrass myself. How should I prepare for this? What should I expect as a consultant's assistant. He also has a whole team of engineers and professional looking people. Yeah I'm nervous. Thanks. Oh and I researched a human resources consultant's job but I still can't figure out what an intern would do.

I'm not talking about a military recruiter here, I'm talking about someone who works in human resources. Anyone who has a good idea about what this job entails, or can direct me to an informative website?
