I have spent days on the internet talking with recruiters, job placement faculty, and even some career counselors. They all tell me I need to narrow my search but I don't know the titles to some of the positions I qualify for.

I'm just curious about how you'd go about becoming a recruiter. What job would you have to study for, what schooling would you have to have? If it makes any difference, I'm particularly curious about the Air Force. I know you have to be in the military to be a recruiter..

What happens RIGHT after, do you get your score, leave and then go back at some point to talk to your recruiter about jobs? Do you pick your job right then and there at the office? I'm going next Tuesday so just want to have a heads up on what to expect. Not sure if it matters which branch but I'll be joining the ARMY.

Hi, I'm Asian, 18 years old and graduated last June. I'm planning to make a career in the military and my choice is the army. My parents don like my decision so they don't support me like normal parents does. Anyways, I want to do infantry jobs. What questions should I ask my recruiter? Benefits, what jobs she could offer me, and all the questions I still don't know. Thank you very much, I'm trying my best to prove to my parents that I can do this.

I love La Jolla, but are there more jobs in Downtown? Trying to decide which part to move that's closer to jobs? My husband is looking for restaurant or retail jobs, and I am looking for sales jobs and recruiter jobs. Have a baby so daycare is also a concern. Any advice is appreciated.

I was contacted via email from a job website by a recruiter for a job after they saw my resume. They gave the job description and told me to email back a copy of my resume and a few other tidbits of information. This was the day before yesterday. I'm not sure if I should wait to hear from them since they contacted me first or do I call or email back. Thanks.

For independent Recruiters out there recruiting in the medical, accounting and IT industries. How would you rate this job offer I received for recruiting for the medical, accounting and IT industries. 1) Cold calling developing my own accounts, in other words no job orders will be issued to me. I have to find my own job orders for my candidates. 2) Work from home 3) Entry level with training 4) Of Course recruiting, matching candidates, screening, qualifying, etc. 5) 50?ommission split on first 2 placements and after 60?n all future placements, even though I have to prospect to get the job orders and on top of that recruit. I am new to this industry but I've always thought that recruiters suppose to only recruit and NOT find job orders also... I guess I'm wrong... Finding job orders and recruiting is a little difficult I think because you are doing 2 different jobs at 1 time.

I just received a job lead for a six month contract job in Hawaii. I live in Knoxville, TN, and I would be occasionally traveling back home to see my wife & kids, maybe once or twice a month. The recruiter for the job is asking what my hourly rate would be for an all inclusive rate, so they would not have to reimburse me for travel. How much should I add on top of my base rate to cover travel from Hawaii?

Literally EVERY email I get from an Indian recruiter lists the job as urgent. Really? Urgent job openings? These are not jobs in India, these are U.S. jobs. I've never heard of an URGENT job posting. Is this some attempt at getting a headline noticed for a commission?

I am looking for a job in the southeast where I can recruit people for a certain career, go to job fairs and things of that nature periodically, and recruit people? Does anyone know if anything like that in the southeast that pays a decent salary? I live in Mobile, Alabama. I have heard of this job before when I was going to college in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but I don't know the exact job that the people were recruiting for. It is not affiliated with the military. Anyone with any information, let me know. I have a degree in Psychology.
