I run a medium size company in the Toronto area and I need to fill two executive sales jobs and two mid-level sales jobs. I've used recruiters before but with no success. I'm looking for a recruiting company that specializes in sales jobs. Can anyone recommend a good sales recruiter?

I have been in B to B sales for a long time and want to get into medical sales but all the jobs on the typical job sites are redundant at best. Where do the medical sales recruiters go to place the best medical sales jobs? Free or pay sites, I just want the best ones to advance my career. Thanks, Holly

I have used Monster in the past, as well, and every time I upload a resume, I get slammed with emails from insurance sales recruiters. There isn't ANYTHING in my resume that indicates I have any desire whatsoever to enter sales of any sort. Obviously, they don't even read it. Why is Monster so full of desperate bottom-feeders?

I love La Jolla, but are there more jobs in Downtown? Trying to decide which part to move that's closer to jobs? My husband is looking for restaurant or retail jobs, and I am looking for sales jobs and recruiter jobs. Have a baby so daycare is also a concern. Any advice is appreciated.

I am applying for a sales representative job at a hotel reservation center. I'm applying online and can add up to 5 attachments relevant to my application. Should I attach a cover letter and a resume or just a resume? If I was mailing in my application/resume I would most definitely have a cover letter. But since it's an online application I'm trying to decide whether or not they'll be annoyed by having 2 attachments to download?

It seems like every decent sales job demands sales experience. I don't want to do tele-marketing or "inside sales".... looking more at B to B outside sales. Any suggestions???? Thanks!

I am a recent college grad (BA in Communications) and I am looking to get into financial sales. In recent interviews, I've felt like I did well and even impressed them a little but I always stubble on the "What do you think of the market" question. I usually go on about the SEC and lack of regulations, but when I mentioned this to one of my recruiters today, she suggests I focus more on the investment side of the question. Anyway, I'm at a loss here... any advice?

Stable jobs really do not seem to exist in America anymore. Layoffs and jobs shipped overseas seemed to be the norm. How does one build a career in America and get access to benefits?

I just went around couple businesses the other day and I am just staring to fill out all the applications. I was wondering how to deny the job offers of the ones I least like to work at in order to work at the place I'd prefer the most? Thanks in advance. P.S. This is my first time looking for jobs; as you can see I'm quite unexperienced. I'd appreciate it if you are able to specifically give me some helpful advices.

Is it possible to get into medical / surgical sales with a finance background (in the healthcare industry)? I don't seem to get any response from my resume. I don't have b2b sales experience. (For selling & people skills, the only thing close that I have is retail sales exp & waitressing exp.) What should I do?

My resume is completely unrelated to sales or finance. I've received several emails from recruiters about financial or insurance jobs, who say they've reviewed my resume on a career site. Some of them have even sent follow up emails when my email reply didn't get through. Are these legit jobs, and should I just call them out or courtesy, even if I'm looking for a job in an unrelated area.

My job is to look at a list of resumes of people qualified for the job that the company found online. I call people up and invite them to a career presentation. However, I only get paid for people who SHOW UP. Unfortunately, many people decline the offer, and about half the people who sign up to come in don't even show up. What can I do to make more people actually come in, or make the career presentation sound more interesting to people? I wanna get paid! What I say now is what my boss told me to say, and it's pretty basic but good enough. I just tell them I saw their resume online and Bankers would like to bring them in for a career presentation at such-n-such time, and would they be able to attend? My current strategy is just to call as many people as possible. Say I call 50 people. Maybe 10 people will sign up for the career presentation, and at the most 5 would show up!

I have over ten years of sales experience. A big part of my jobs is analyzing sales data. Over time I have developed more of an interest in the analyst side of my responsibilities and less in the sales side. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to break into an entry level sales analyst position?
