So called "talent agent" and exclusive talent management ETM are a complete rip off scam. they charge people illegal registration fees and then extra fees for photos and showreels and then you never hear from them and they never get anyone work. they post fake jobs on their facebook page and always hold competitions to suck in more models to get more illegal fees. tim reedy is breaking the law. how and where can he be reported? it's not fair that he's ripping off the public by charging illegal fees.

I recently got a call from a company called Global Talent Management. I have heard that if a company asks for money straight up it is most likely a scam. Although i have been talking to them through email and over the phone and the only fee they have mentioned is a $249 booking fee for my showreel, where they have also mentioned that they are willing to invest $1200 into my showreel if i pay this fee. Has anyone delt with this company before or know anything about it. Thanks.

My husband wants to advance his career, and is looking at management job openings. The problem is that all the management jobs in his field call for previous management experience. He has all the other qualifications, has previous supervisory experience, but has no actual management experience. Do you think he should apply to the jobs anyway? Or would that just annoy the hiring person because the job description specifically asks for management experience? If you think he should apply anyway, what kinds of things could be added to a cover letter to prove that he could do the job, even without the experience?
