I'm 17 and will be turning 18 in two months in which then i can gain a license to sell insurance. I currently work at a grocery retail store barely making enough for gas, and cell phone bill. I'm not a lazy person, but who likes manual labor anyway? My dad called me and told me he had a job opportunity for me, he said he recently had a friend from church come over and told him about Priamerica. supposedly its a insurance agency that allows individual licensed representatives to sell insurance and recruit other representatives. ive done a little research on it, some say its a pyramid scheme and others say its legit, but whatever it is if people are making money i want in. I believe i can adapt to whatever work environment im in. i have in the past. maybe its because I'm still young or just gullible with the potential amount of money i could make. its totally based on commission. i'm ok with that. I could say i have a very good work ethic, compared to the other people i work with, and im not really a people person, but i figured i can learn to be. I'm really considering working along with my dad on this priamerica thing. it does sound too good to be true. but why not try it? i just want to know, would this be a waste of time for me, or could it possibly come with some decent rewards?
