I am currently drawing unemployment and was interested in going to school part time and also have a part time job. I know if I make under 40 hours a week I could probably get the difference in unemployment benefits. But I don't want to get cut off if I try to go to school too.

My husband currently makes only $24,000 a year and I feel like this is way too low and he could be doing alot better. He is an insurance processor for a third party administrator, and is the only one who does his job. What do you make if you are in the age range, and what is your position/career? I am curious how we compare with others our age and what potential careers my DH could go into to make more money. I should add that we live in Lansing, I work as well (Sales Assistant), we both have B.S. degrees from MSU, however not working in the degree field.

I'm currently doing some research on the internet but was hoping to hear from some people who have had their own home cleaning business. I'm currently looking into beginning my own home cleaning business (somewhat as a side job as I have a part time job) and was looking to see if anyone had any pointers, suggestions, things to watch and be prepared for etc. I'm also slightly confused on approximate costs per home/room etc (which I will check prices for my area), so if anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm interested in maybe working in a museum and was wondering what else I would need to do that. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I will be 40 in a few months and have been working in an administrative field for over 20 years. In the last few years I've had aspirations of going back to school to obtain a Funeral Director's license. These two fields are comparitively very different. What results did you have when you made the change? Do you have regrets?
