Describe the settlement patterns of the western United States. • What were some of the reasons that Americans migrated to the West? Identify at least three different things that contributed to this movement. • Once they reached the Kansas-Nebraska area, where did people make additional settlements? • What area of the nation “filled in” last? Thank you!

I know that you can get almost any job with a Mathematics degree, and I also that Mathematics graduates have the LOWEST levels of UNEMPLOYMENT, but which jobs can they get exactly? Specific details please? I know that you can be a maths teacher/lecturer, and that's obvious, but I really don't want to go into teaching. I also know that you can have a job in Finance and Accounting, but they are also obvious.

Is it correct when the collector that has my student loan tells me to send a settlement offer letter stating the amount I want to settle for, but sending it by fax or email? I thought these were supposed to be done in writing through certified mail...? Also, how and which is the correct way to write one, as I am new to all this? I'd appreciate it very much, if anyone can show me a sample letter, I've searched the web, but don't know if I'm looking at the right one. Thanks

Like as a portfolio analyst or something with a wealth management company. I was applying to jobs in financial services but now I'm thinking about taking more classes part-time. I guess I am feeling a little lazy or like I don't know what I want to do. Would it be good to do a masters in applied math even if I don't know how it would help me?

I am having trouble getting a collection agency to send me a settlement letter. They are saying I have to give them a post dated check or my account information before they will send the letter. I told them I would be willing to settle with them but all I want is the letter to say they did agree to settle for the amount they agreed to. My wife and I are tring to buy a home and we were told by our morgage person not to pay nothing until we get the letter. How can I get this collection company to send the letter without providing my account information?

Is there a common calculation that is a rule of thumb at all with auto injury settlements? My husband and I were hit head on a few months ago and he was badly injured (in the hospital for a week). Do we take our medical bills and multiply by a certain amount at all or is that just a rumor? Any help is appreciated! Oh, and we are working with an attorney - he just hasn't given us any kind of figure yet since we're not done with medical treatments.

I need to find an independent, qualified person/service to provide expert testimony for an insurance settlement case. Specifically, to provide an assessment of the nature, extent, and prognosis of injuries I sustained in an auto accident - with the possibility of using this information if the case goes to court. I have looked online for "disability assessments", "disability profiles", etc., but am not finding anything in my local area (Portland, Oregon). Any suggestions?

I know someone who has a child in California, he has a child support court order but was suspended because he lost his job. Started a law suit against his company claiming injury and then moved to Washinggton State, its been two years and no permanent job yet, however he has settled his lawsuit and now he cashed the money and is stashing it away somewhere, so that he is not detected. Where do you report this kind of situation, I have looked into the goverment website and there is no option for something like this.
