 | My mother keeps telling me that it won't be successful career. I don't want to believe her because she's always pessimistic besides she rarely does her research since she doesn't really use computer at all. How can she know if she doesn't do her research??
I've seen a lot of job positions for computer support specialist on the internet but one of my friends said its too hard to find a job for that.
I don't know if its true anymore. Please tell me if it'd make a fair career!

I fear that to become one I would have to take a lot of math courses. I really want to be an archivist but I fear that it would be hard to get a job as one. I'm very good in history as well. What should I do?

 | I was wondering if someone could give me more information on what a IT Specialist job would require from an individual if a college is searching for a Junior/Senior/Masters individual. I noticed they were fine with the combination of Engineering and Computer Science.
I am actually a engineering major with a computer science minor.
Any idea what they are looking for from an application? Anything that you can suggest that I might not think to write down on a resume for it?

 | My local junior college offers a certificate of completion program for computer programming specialist. You get a certificate, just like you would say if you were a pharmacy tech.
Its a 16-17 unit coarse.
What kind of jobs could you get with something like this? Where in California do you think i would have to move or commute to this kind of job?
The good thing is that I'll get this certificate before i even get an AS in Comp Sci. Sooo i might as well get it right?
