Ok so i am a software engineering student, at a london university, I was watching an interview by a Facebook employee and he was saying we are looking for great programmers, we have 200 hundred people in engineering.
To me a programmer is someone who can write code, but you have to tell them how to do it, to me if you are a programmer you are similar to a construction worker, you have been given a design by an architect, you have to follow that design, you wouldent know how to build something yourself.
Is this correct?
