When Steve Jobs demos new things like iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad, etc, how does he do video mirroring? (video mirroring is projecting what is on the screen of the iDevice to an external monitor like a TV, computer, or projector) Another part to this question, how does he do that on his Keynote files? Help to either or both of these questions would be appreciated. Don't tell me anything that requires jail-breaking, either. Thanks in advance!

With all the rumors of a 2nd generation iPhone that includes 3G connections and GPS posted on the internet and the fact that Apple is no longer stocking the iPhone in stores, when exactly will Apple official announce the new iPhone. What I mean is, like are there any public Apple events that are about to be given like one of the famous Steve Job's keynotes. I want an iPhone but don't want to get, then a new one come out. Thanks for answering!

Let's say I get a degree in computer science, can confidently code using the main programming languages and if I have created my own basic software/iPhone apps. Would I be able to walk into a job tomorrow? If yes, what sort of pay would someone with no experience expect? If no, why not? Thanks :)

I am looking at making an iPhone app and have done the write up of all the details the app includes. I know there are many companies and websites that make applications, I am looking for the cheapest option that will get the job done to a high quality standard. I am 51 next month, I am unemployed, I purchased a MAC last week and would like to start learning iPhone programming. I got several books on Objective-C. In the past I have done a little bit programming ( Little C and AS3 and know a little about OOP too). So far Objective -C seems very unfriendly to learn. How long will it take me to become a good iPhone developer if I spend 4H learning the language & the Framework? If I can't find a job because of my age , do you think that I can reasonably expect to build iPhone Apps and make a living selling them? Thx for your suggestions! 4H/day

I know loads of answers are going to be really unhelpful but I am just curious. I was wondering how could I get into the business of manufacturing smart phones and tablets. I know it is not easy but I currently run a small scaled business making custom PCs and Laptops. I was wondering who could I approach and how? I just have a general interest. I also do understand that it is going to be costly, and the chances are it is not going to be very popular. I have used kick-starter before to get funding for a range of smartphone apps I have created. I am not planning on being the next Steve Jobs or Bill Gates but am just a curious tech fanatic looking for new ideas to explore. Any help would be appreciated. Don't bother answering if you are not going to helpful or just mock me. Thanks 8-) For those who are blind, this is posted under HARDWARE. A mobile device is a branch of computing, hence MOBILE COMPUTING! I am highly skilled in what I do, if I wanted a lecture i would have asked for one. Again, helpfulness is all i acquire.

I know that March 6th Steve Jobs is hosting a little "SDK" release party. Everyone is excited. I am too because I know its going I make my iPhone better...but how exactly? what are the implications of third parties being allowed to develop software?

When asked to think of figures who changed the world, we often think of activists, politicians or, dare I say it, celebrities. I feel industrialists are often overlooked. Many sneer at the thought of Steve Jobs changing the world. But, in some small way he has. Hundreds of companies sprung up in the wake of the iPod to create cases, socks and headphones for consumers. When the iPhone, and later the iPad, were released, it allowed software developers to earn a living creating 'apps'. Even secondary schools are adopting the use of the tablet computer for educational purposes in the classroom.
