I just received my BA in Information Systems and I am currently working on my Masters. I have 2 years of experience in the field, but I am finding it very hard to locate a job. I have posted my resume on all job sites I know of, and I have completed many applications, but still nothing. I need help and suggestions.

Wikipedia.org states that a network administrator is the same as a systems administrator except he/she is working on a network. But when would a systems administrator be in demand. Princetonreview.com says there are 100,000 unfilled systems administrator jobs in the US. Why can't network administrators fill these positions? Please help.

I already have my Masters degree and I have taught Special Ed for seven years and I am seriously considering getting my Administrator's credentials. I have a few hesitations about it and maybe someone out there can help me clear them up. I am a little worried about the overtime, the teachers I have talked to tell me the AP's work horrendous amounts of overtime, but every administrator I have spoken with tells me they take turns working games etc. What have your experiences been? I really don't want to take a job where I never see my family ever again. My second question is how much competition is generally out there for Secondary Assistant Administrator jobs? (I would do a one year internship but of course would prefer not to.)

I have just finished uni whereby I studied psychology. I plan to go on and do a Masters either this September or next September depending on my finance situation. However in the meantime I am trying to find a job - just anything really, but something that will allow me to continue my voluntary work that I am currently doing that is psychology related . But I am stuck? How do you get a job in an area you do not intend to pursue a career? Basically I am stuck on writing covering letters explaining why I am applying for the position (I have been applying for administrator jobs). I will probably be even more stuck if I were to get an interview and they ask me why I want the job. Some help would be greatly appreciated. P.S temp work is not an option, I don't really have any experience. Thanks!! I know I need to lie/pretend but honestly I really don't know how to be a good lier (sic). I hate lying.

Are some Administrator jobs on Internet career sites fictional? I ask this because I am utterly SICK to death of apply for these office jobs - and very rarely getting a reply. Having sent out countless CVs for many months now, without any offers of even an interview, it has led me to suspect that most of these jobs don't actually exist. What do all you other job hunters think? Have you been experiencing the same depressing, soul destroying problem?

Economics is more of a "big picture" study and would give you a wider scope of employment. Business would likely land you only a low-level administrator job. How come very few choose the former rather than the latter? There are far too many graduates with a business degree that it has largely saturated to the point that they're a dime in a dozen.
