Lead Technical Support Engineer Job Questions & Answers

I just seem to notice more and more job titles with the word engineer in them when I cannot find any engineering aspects to the job role at all. For example, I have a friend who used to a Technical Support Consultant, but is now a 'Intel Support Engineer', although he tells me he does the same job. What you you think? Perhaps someone here with a engineering job title but who does no engineering work could comment too?

I know that you can get almost any job with a Mathematics degree, and I also that Mathematics graduates have the LOWEST levels of UNEMPLOYMENT, but which jobs can they get exactly? Specific details please? I know that you can be a maths teacher/lecturer, and that's obvious, but I really don't want to go into teaching. I also know that you can have a job in Finance and Accounting, but they are also obvious.

I just completed my first year of college at the University of New Hampshire as a Wildlife Biology student. I am strongly considering taking a year off school for multiple reasons, but I don't want to stay at home working the same job for an entire year. I am hoping to find some internship opportunities that are focused on wildlife biology or environmental science. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

I am between sweden and norway. My visitor visa is up in a month and a half, and i don't want to leave because i am so in love and i want to start a life with my fiance. My fiance is 25 years old norwegian\british male, and i am a 22 year old american female. I have not gone to a university yet. My fiance has taken technical drawer and has plans to become an engineer. I don't know if this could help the process of staying to help him, but he has documented medical conditions such as: Nail and patella syndrome and is epileptic because of a golfing accident abroad. Thank you a head of time for you response, happy trails. :-)

I am currently considering going into this field and I was wondering if there are any clinical laboratory scientists out there to answer some of my questions. First, what does the future hold for clinical laboratory scientists? Will CLS be in demand in the next 20 years? For those who are currently Clinical Laboratory Scientists, do you regret going into this field? What are the pros and cons in working as a CLS? I’ve heard you can specialize in a much more specific portion of CLS like hematology, microbiology, cytology, etc.. If so what is the most sought after specialty by companies/hospitals? What was your starting salary? And what does your salary look like now after x months/years of experience? Can a current clinical laboratory scientist please answer these questions for me? I’d be eternally grateful if you could take the time to answer these questions. Thank You

I am stuck between getting a degree in Theatre Arts or English. I love acting, and I am very good at it, but I heard that it is hard to get noticed. I, also, like to write, such as stories, and learning about literature. I heard I have a wide vary of jobs to pick from with an English degree. The two colleges that I am interested in provides both choices. I was thinking majoring in English and minoring in Theatre Arts, but I am not sure yet. Thank you.

I heard that although architects earn around 50k or 60k per year, they get big money on contracts (like 300k per contract) and they can do around 3 per year. (so that's like almost 1 million per year). is that right? If architects only get 50k per year, why are they seen at the same level as lawyers and doctors who earn much more?

When I checked Yohanes H's answer in previous question, I was stunned that OMG almost all good Indonesian companies are lead by ITB graduates. I ask my mom who works in BNI and she said that even in BNI many important positions are hold by ITB graduates and it is foreseen that in the future the position of Directors in BNI (and some other top banks) may be placed by ITB graduates because their numbers in GM/VP positions now are so many - almost 40?hile IPB graduates 20?nd the rest who came from economics only about 40?rom various universities, and economicsUI only about 10? Why managerial positions placed by ITB graduates not by economics (management/accounting) from UI, Unpad, Unpar, UGM? If ITB graduates place managerial positions then where management graduates seek job. I think it is not fair... It's like IPA students who can enter social majors while IPS students can't enter science majors. Why MBA courses permit engineering students who don't have degree to enter Here are some ITB graduates who are directors in banks: Bien Soebiantoro,Kemal Ranadireksa, Tjahjana Tjakrawinata directors of BNI, Dian Angreniwati Soerarso CFO of Niaga, and many others in Mandiri, BCA, and BRI
