Well, I'm living in Texas now but I would like to relocate to LA to go after serious acting jobs. I'm getting my degree, mostly because I don't want to wait tables for the rest of my life. I really want to act. I do alot of it in Texas now, well mostly theatre. I would eventually like to do film as well. The thing that puzzles me is how should I go about doing that while working a decent job?

I'm curious to know because I'm persuing acting and in college now and I wanted to know what professional jobs, besides acting, are flexible and pay good money. I'm getting my degree now and I already know about waiting tables, clubs, etc. The point of me going to college is so that I can avoid those jobs. I'm not trying to get rich either, I just want to live comfortably. What GOOD/PROFESSIONAL jobs could be flexible to my acting career?

In about a year when I am able to start showing, I will. Hopefully if I'm as good as my trainer says I am, I can get my name out there, and it will be easier for me to be a riding instructor. Other than being well known, and a good rider myself, how would I go about becoming a riding instructor? I heard somewhere that I would have to take an equine science class. Is that true? If so, is that possible online? I am going to move to Seattle, and from searching online, I couldn't find any equine related classes in any of the colleges. Also, what would it take to be a professional horse trainer? I have trained my horse from a weanling, and he is an excellent horse, riding and on the ground. I am aware that plenty of people are better than me, so don't think I'm trying to be conceited. How would I go about getting my name out there? I wouldn't think college classes would be necessary, but I could be wrong. Where would I begin? Thanks :)

Hello! I want to work for the NSA in the future, and I was wondering how to land a job there. I am a high school freshman at the moment and wanted to go into the career of information security (cyber security). So what are some good internship places I can go to? I live in South California. What are some IT camps I can go to? What are some programs I can learn? What are some online courses that I could take? What GPA should I get in high school and sat? What college is the best to get a bachelor degree and etc? Best answer gets 10 points thank you.

Alright so my dream job would to be a game programmer. Although I'd go for any kind of programming. My question is what language should I learn first. I am in high school so I have already taken some HTML but that's definitely not enough! :) Is there any recommended language I should learn like Java, Microsoft C++, etc. If so, is there any good tutorial books on that language and I don't mean like basic how to do stuff but some in depth programming in a sense where it'll teach me from start to finish. Basically the whole thing. If so, please state title and author. Thanks! :D

I currently live in Buffalo, which is a 6-8 hr dive to NYC depending on traffic. It is an active theatre town that does the occasional Indy film and is a popular spot, believe it or not, for some main stream/Hollywood studios, including Bruce Almighty and the new Ivan Reitman film Draft Day, which is about the Bills. However these movies use buffalo for 2nd unit and exterior shooting because of lack of sound stage. And unless your SAG, your most likely an extra. So just wondering, besides LA and NYC, where else can I look into living where I can hope to make acting a career? Not another Buffalo, but somewhere I can call acting my full time job. I know it will be a struggle to get that level, but the expense of NYC and LA (LA broke economy) makes it that much more difficult. I have no degree, so the frustrating customer service and retail jobs seem like all I qualify for, and as you know, they have no interest in paying you more than 8.50 per hour. And with that pay they expect you to know that you are not irreplaceable and you have to multitask, doing 3-4 jobs for one jobs pay. Anyway, I'm an extreme idealist, no realist in my blood. I've heard of Atlanta, Chicago and Toronto as other areas to work as an actor. Any truth to that? Do you know any other place? What about another country, like Australia, lol? Thanks for any advice and input.

Just as the title says, I want to know the name of that career or job, because that is what I want to do in the future. I am thirteen years old and I love designing stuff and drawing houses and whatever I can come up with. I also love to photoshop things and edit video etc. What high school courses should I take and what subjects should I study or focus more on? Also, is this particular job severely difficult to find and perform? Does it pay well if you work with a big company like Microsoft or Apple? Thanks!

I would like to begin teaching online college classes. What educational requirements do I need? What are some good resource sites for finding jobs and networking with others with the same interests? Thanks Toronto, but I'm not impressed with your claimed internet identity, you are obviously unemployed or underemployed to have that kind of free time.

I'm currently a junior in High School, and I already have my college set. I'm going to UCLA, but I'm honestly really lost on what type of courses and or degrees I need to get a job in either being a part of creating a video game or simply being the type of person who goes to Gamescon and etc. I'm just a lost kid looking to find some sortve path on what type of classes I should aim for along with degrees that can help in both job situations.
