I remember using some Windows 7 CHKDSK in CMD on Windows 7 that changes back recent changes or something? Does anyone know what the command is? I have recently done some modifications with my Windows 7 themes, and was wondering if a CHKDSK command will change back what I have done? I have done a CHKDSK command and it worked before but I forget what exactly to type in CMD. Any help appreciated, thanks.

I am a Bachelor of Commerce and did few IT related courses. in 2002 I passed my MSCE (Windows 2000). I also attended some courses in Linux, Lotus Domino, CCNA etc. I am Currently working as IT Support Engineer and my responsibilities include Administrating Windows 2003 servers and providing technical support to end users. I was also Team Leader for migrating Servers from Windows NT to Windows 2003. I also assist other Administrators in their jobs related to Domino Admin and Network Admin. other than Windows Administration, I have been assigned Administration of our CCTV Systems as it is a Windows based software. My Agent suggested me to apply for ACS assessment by submitting RPL as I don't have a degree in IT. Is he right? i read that MCSE qualifies for group B assessment plus I got more than 11 yrs of experience in this filed. he also suggested to apply for state sponsorship rather than going for GSM. I want my following doubts cleared. can I skip the RPL and directly apply in group b? under which ANZSCO Code I can apply for? will my designation as IT support Engineer affect the assessment, though my Manager is ready to give me a good Letter of Experience? under which category I should apply for the visa? 175, 176 or 475?

I am the Network Administrator for a company that is moving to a new location and wishes to upgrade its computer systems and double the work force. Currently, the company has 35 employees running Windows 98 on a Windows NT 4.0 domain. 10 employees are in management, 5 are in programming, 5 are in sales, and 15 are in graphics and development. The company wishes to create a research team and provide me with an IT staff, as well as increase the size of the other teams. At the new location, the office is already wired for Internet connection. The Internet Service Provider has issued the company an IP address range of 128.174.7.0 to 128.174.7.64. I must provide a proposal that includes a Server solution, the amount of new computers, printers, and servers to purchase, and the Operating System to install. I must also create a plan for IP addresses of the computers and servers. Finally, I must add network printers and shared group permissions for printers and file server storage and be sure to provide the groups I create and the members of the groups. I am new to this job straight out of college and am a little perplexed. I had some ideas, but I wanted to get some fellow IT pros opinions. Could someone please help me out in devising a simple enough plan?
