 | I'm trying to find out the best route, and the quickest yet best quality, to become a nurse practitioner. I'm an RN with an Associate Degree, and have been in the medical field for 29 yrs, since high school.
I'm interested in learning something new, and would like to stay in the medical field despite a partial disability I have. This makes it impossible to continue with physical, or even sedentary nursing, so more autonomy would be great.
If there are any legitimate at home job for an RN, that would be very helpful in the meantime. Any ideas?
I've been Charge nurse in a high acuity med-surg unit in a teaching hospital, and presently Charge in a Surgery/Oncology unit. I also work ENT/Ortho/GI/GU/Oral/Plastics/Derm clinics, and Minor surgery.
I was a certified scrub tech prior. I worked in the OR for 10 yrs. I trained at the best, 'Big Charity' in New Orleans.
Motto: 'See one, do one, teach one' I specialized in Ortho and Neuro, training new staff.
Thanks for input!

 | What job fields are prominent for having someone transfer to Japan? Assuming that someone knows Japanese. From the top of my head video game , animation, writing, or business companies, etc, etc. Also could I get specific company names? Like maybe Sony, Funimation, etc. I'm a few years away from picking a bachelors and although I wouldn't pick a job I hate just to live in Japan I am keeping open.

I want to stay in the agriculture field and still be able to work with animals but I don't know what other jobs are available. | I know this is the programming section, but maybe some of you can answer this.
I have a Bachelor's degree in computer science. What can I do that isn't strictly programming or software development (it can involve some programming, but not where 100?f your work is coding)? Also what can I do that's outside of the IT industry? And what would I need to have or learn besides my degree to get there?

 | I've been searching, but it seems like I am mostly finding QA Software Engineers - how can I narrow my results?
I'm afraid that no one seems to be getting what I was asking. I wanted titles for NON Software QA Engineers - but all I got were more things to call Software QA Engineers.
I'll put this up to a vote - thanks :-)

 | I have always loved IT but I found myself working in the care industry and I have even got an NVQ3 in Health and social care. However, I love IT from a previous working experience too. I design websites in my spare time. Am about applying for a place in the university. I don't know what the job market is like for IT (computer science) people in the UK especially in 3 years time when I will be finishing. My heart says IT but my mind says nursing.
