Thank you so much for the answers. I just want to be sure we choose the proper categories before we submit this application. :)

 | I have just been offered a job as a Software Quality Assurance Intern. The intent of this "internship" is for me work part-time during the remainder of my schooling (2 semesters) and full-time during the summer (1 summer) and receive a full-time job offer when I graduate.
The reasons I have to doubt that a 1099 is correct (instead of a W2) are:
1. They have offered me hourly compensation paid by a 1099 form.
2. I will be expected to show-up based on a schedule that I give them to work around my school (I will have expected hours).
3. I will be expected to do the work based on how my supervisor tells me. (I won't have autonomy to simply deliver a finished product -- I am working with a team there.)
I think (from Googling) a good gauge of whether work is eligible for 1099 payment is if I could outsource it to someone else and simply deliver a finished product, obviously that is not possible.
Some related questions:
I will likely ask for a W2 regardless (it can't hurt) but I am interested in seeing if this is even technically legal for the company to do.
Also, I would prefer being paid by W2. What are some things that I could say to convince the company to give me a W2? (Whether they be legal or otherwise).
I negotiated this salary up quite a bit from where it started (around 60?p -- they wanted to pay cheaply for me because I would be an "intern") but should I ask for more if a 1099 is what they choose?
I should clarify on the 60?p from initial offer for one of the responders -- they were low balling. That extra $$ was not to adjust for the 1099.
Also, I DO like the company and want to work for them full-time after graduation... I'm hoping this is just a simple misstep from them.

 | Just wondering, what are some jobs in Agriculture that aren't farming?
|
| |
 | In a factory? Is it the same thing?
Is it classed as a semi-skilled job or does that depend on the individual job, and training given etc?

 | I want to go to school to become a large animal veterinarian but incase it doesn't work out my mom wants me to have a back up plan. I want to stay in the agriculture field and still be able to work with animals but I don't know what other jobs are available. I want to work with the horses, cows, pigs, chicken, and all the farm animals if possible. If I cant make it into vet school, I may consider becoming an agriculture teacher but it doesn't pay well. If anyone knows of other job options please let me know! thanks!

 | This is the question (Summarize your recommendations for this corporation in terms of what they should be looking for in their results from the point of view of QUALITY ASSURANCE and MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE)
to improve profitability in its manufacturing operations. The company had very good metrics for managing plant and assembly operations. The problem was that each facility used different methodologies for standards development and line balancing. While these techniques had resulted in productivity gains, management believed more significant and consistent results could be achieved using a proven, consistent methodology.
For the initiative to be truly successful, the company would need to change not only the technical side of its manufacturing process, but also the company culture, including how its employees performed their jobs. Prior to the project, the typical line re-engineering took an average of six months to complete and implement. With such a significant savings opportunity, the company wanted to realize the savings much faster than six months per line. To accelerate the realization of this cost savings opportunity, the company reviewed proposals from several consulting providers before choosing you to assist them with the improvement initiative.
To begin, the company wanted to balance assembly lines in three separate facilities. This would allow the company to increase assembly line productivity, while creating a consistent balancing tool for multiple facilities. The initiative would also provide the companies engineers with a tool to evaluate method improvement ideas in a timely and accurate manner, and offer tools, training and documented processes for supervisors to follow in other manufacturing plants. To achieve success, the company needed a consistent methodology that would allow workers across its manufacturing facilities to “speak the same language,” by using the same tools and techniques.
so im really not sure what this question is asking. but this is what i got so far, is it right and am i on the right track and also can you also give me more ideas to add thanks alot
This is what i got (From what I read you need my recommendations in the following areas: Quality Assurance and Management structure. Let me start off stating what Quality Assurance is. QA is an operational activity whose primary focus is to make sure that the firm’s overall quality objectives are met. It is a great idea to make QA plan for every project to make sure the final products are of the upmost quality. First you need to find out what needs to be done. Next you need to make sure you know your quality objectives for the product. After you discovered that it is good to write down all the roles and their responsibility for the project and give the workers their roles. It is important to make sure after assigning their roles they understand everything it’s asking of them. Lastly set a deadline in which these roles are to be complete. If you follow this the quality of the product will never change.)

 | I have been unemployed for almost 6 months now. Tomorrow there is a job fair for a local grocery store that I am going to. It is nowhere near the ideal job that I want, but its seeming like my only option.
Anyway, when I was 15 and 16 I worked at kroger over the summer. I was only a Courtesy Clerk, but since it was at a grocery store, I wanna put it on my resume.
My duties were:
Collecting carts from the parking lot
Bagging customers groceries
Occasionally helping customers out to their cars
Running price checks on items
Returning unwanted items back to their proper shelves
Making sure bathrooms and the front of the store were kept clean
I know this is bad of me, but I honestly dont know how to explain those duties any other way than I just did. I dont really want to put it like that on my resume because I fear it may hurt my chances by looking too juvenile.
How can I spice it up? This wont be my only job on my resume though. My last job I was a supervisor at a mom pop store for a year and 8 months, and before that I worked in fast food. Both of those I have full and detailed job descriptions. Like I said, I just want to add the grocery store history to it to increase my chances since It is a similar environment.
