 | I've worked in desktop support for about 5 years and found a job i'm thinking about applying to, but it's for a windows system admin. It is asking for 3 years of SCCM knowledge which i dont have. i've never used SCCM. I meet the other requirements. Should i apply? Do most places offer training for something like this or will i just look stupid if i get an interview and say i have no idea how to use SCCM?

 | As of now I feel like I want to go the Microsoft System Administrator and/or Support Technician route. I have over 140 credits in a Computer Security and Information Assurance BS, but haven't completed a few degree requirements because of financial difficulty. I'll work on that when I secure a decent job. In addition to that, I'm hired as a contract worker for an IT staffing agency and have about 6 months of help desk experience in an enterprise environment. I've completed a free course on Active Directory in Windows Server 2008 through my staffing agency's free training program. I'm currently studying for the CompTIA A+, but don't feel comfortable testing just yet. It's a little difficult to get contracts without an A+, so that's my first priority, but are there any other things I could do to make myself stand out more on my resume, that don't require too much financial cost? What training courses should I aim for through my agency? (They use SkillPort)

 | Hey guys. I have a new laptop with an OS of Windows 7 Home Premium. I heard that you can directly upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate without upgrading first to Windows 7 Professional and Enterprise. If I were to upgrade my OS in the future to Windows 7 Ultimate, will I be able to have all the features of Windows 7 Ultimate? I hope I can receive honest answers. Thank you.

 | I graduated from Devry University in 2002 with a BS in Computer Information Systems. If I am not into programming, what would you suggest that someone can go into a career field with this type of degree? I am interested in hardware and software support, Internet support, Web page development, Help desk. Any other suggestions?
I have yet to land a position in the IT field. Ever since graduating in 2002 with this degree I have yet to find a position. I have lost a lot of my experience with different IT subjects. I am currently working since 2003 for a company that is not in my field.
