 | I'm planning to attend a college that offers Air Force ROTC and graduate as a second lieutenant. However, I'd like to know what kind of jobs would be available to me once I do graduate. Could I be a doctor? If so, would I have to go to med school at some point? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 | I'm very interested in the justice system, and was wondering what all the jobs that have to do with it are. I've been very interested in becoming a guardian ad litem, but from my reading I've discovered that most of the time there is rarely any compensation and volunteers are more likely to be used. Thanks!

 | There are many jobs in the military that they train you for and that would count as a college education if you want to have that as a job when you are discharged. would being a judge advocate be enough to be a lawyer?

 | I plan on eventually becoming a Judge Advocate Officer. But I'm not sure which branch JAG is better in terms of difficulty to get in, law school tuition reimbursement (if any offer such a thing), contract obligations commitment, prestige, and other factors I should consider.

I am very interested in all these areas and i like what I am doing, it's just that I'm not quite sure what I can do with them besides the obvious careers. Any help would be appreciated!!!

 | I am currently in Law School and when i graduate I was looking to do some Government Work. I am looking into the FBI Special Agent Attorney route, but the JAG career track has caught my eye, but the problem is finding any information.
I know Judge Advocates must go through basic training, but what i would like to know is if they must also serve in combat?
What i mean is....
After training do Judge Advocates go right into practicing law? or must they server in Iraq etc?
If anyone knows the answer to the question please reply, also if you have any other information about the JAG career track please post it here...thanks

 | I have tried everything, I think. I have two teenagers who only think they have to help if they get something out of it, i.e., money or a friend can sleep over - and even then it is a slipshod job, at best! I think I need a 'Supernanny' for teens to help motivate them. GRRRR!

 | I plan on becoming a police officer in the future, and there's a question or two I would like to avoid answering "yes" to during the lie detector test.. Would it be best to answer truthfully or not? Because I'm certain if I answer yes then it is highly unlikely that I would be able to get the job. It involves drugs.
