When in law school do you decide what type of law you want to go into? Is it right of the bat in the first year or later. What are the different types of law? What is more difficult, most easy...? What is most lucrative, least lucrative? Give me a general description of the types.

They want you to have experience but nobody is willing to give you that experience. I have taken several online classes but the job market doesn't care unless you have actual legal office experience. Again, how to gain that?

I just wondered what the downsides and plus sides would be for the above areas of law. I have to choose in August (ILEX qualifications) and wondered if anybody could advise me on what would be the best route to take. If anybody has any other ideas aside from the above those are welcome too. Many thanks.

I want to become a corprate lawyer, and i want to know the best path to take. I am considering going to the Air Force Academy, but I'm not sure i will be able to get my law degree. I am also considering going to a school in the UK because it is alot shorter but I don't know if I will be able to practice in america if i choose to. I am also considering taking a traditional path by getting a four year degree in america then proceeding to a law school. What would be the best option with the least amount of expense and time?

It was originally supposed to be a summer job as a File Clerk (I filled out the I-9 and everything), but I'm interested in working a few nights a week and on the weekends too. There were originally supposed to be 6 people working where I work and now there's only 2, myself included. How should I ask? I already have the keys to the place, and a parking pass and everything because I work weekends now. But how can I ask to stay as a full time employee?

Hey, it's the only elective at my school that has AT LEAST a little bit of similarity. To Gina C: Jeez ThX a lot!!!!(being sarcastic) you just took away most of the confidence i had to pursue this career, uggh now I'm just doubting myself more and more, but I still want to be a lawyer. (dude, that was sooooooo not nice, like seriously) It's not the only elective I like, I'd rather take journalism than that

I'm just asking this one out of curiosity, as I heard it a while ago and haven't been able to find a clear definition. I believe it's a job title, but I'm not positive. Does it just mean part-owner or the company? In terms of power, how does it rank compared the the founder, President/CEO, and/or board of directors?

My story is about a girl who moved to a small time town. She has a twin brother, who she is usually mistaken for. Her parents are partners at a law firm, they aren't home much so she mainly takes care of the house and her older twin. For some strange reason she runs into this guy with dark hair and green eyes. when the main character didn't feel to good she went to the nurses office to lay down. When she awoke the boy was sitting a little to close for her comfort. She runs away and he follows, they get lost and she was being stubborn saying she could get home on her own. She adventionaly found out that they were only a little ways from her house. Later he gets nicknamed the green-eyed boy. At school she's unknown, she manages her home life pretty well but after her brother forgets to change the oil in the car and ruins the engine she gets mistaken for a boy once again. She's only known as a girl to the green-eyed boy who seems to be at every corner she turns he's there. Her mother said since they ruined there 2012 mustang, they had to pay sixty percent for the new car. The girl has to get a job, she even has something in mind...the ramen shop down the road. That night there was a knock on the door, she got off the couch and walked to the door the green-eyed boy was there. They had a short conversation and then the girl found out he was the principals son who lived across the street, her principal. She got the job at the ramen shop, but I don't have a plan for going any further in the story. I don't like the idea killing off the characters. I would appreciate it if some people could help me with the story line. It is a love story, told from a average teenager point of veiw. I usually write fantasy but i'm trying something new. I thought of the idea binging in a love rivile but I don't really know. the girl actually looks like a boy because she wears baggy clothing and has a hair cut that should be worn by a boy. thank you for reading my summary and for the help.

Other than a paralegal degree, what specifically would most law offices be looking for in a law office manager? Are they paid quite a lot more than a paralegal?

My brother and my sister both graduated in criminal justice...and my brother is now in law school. He was telling me I should look into being a contract lawyer because he thinks I would like it? He kind of told me a little about it. How can I make my decision on that possibly becoming a goal of mine? Because my major now is kinesiology and it is too much math and science for me.. :/
