In many cases, workers take on starter jobs as they prepare for their targeted career. For example, one might work as a chef at a restaurant while saving up to take advanced culinary classes, while a business person might start as an intern at a corporate business as he or she saves up for grad school in business. What is the equivalent for someone going into Clinical Psychology? Because volunteering does not generate money, I'm wondering what type of paid experience is relevant to the job.

I know someone who is a surgical technician and I'm pretty sure they only have an associate's degree in this field. I estimate that, entry-level, they can't make more than 40k/yr.

Obviously, there are "traditional" jobs for people graduating with a BA in Computer Science, such as jobs as a software engineer. I'm wondering - what types of "non-traditional" jobs are there for Computer Science BAs willing to get a graduate degree, either in computer science or another field?

I only have a high school diploma. Working right now on my degree in Computer Science. I really want a desk job of some kind but not doing phones all day. I can take phone calls but not all day. I'm just so ready to be done with warehouse jobs and into something that has more growth potential. What do I need to do in order to get out from doing warehouse jobs and into getting a white collar job? I wouldn't mind working for a law firm doing entry level work for example.

I've always wanted a job as an animal caretaker/trainer (NOT a vet) such as those seen on shows like "Growing Up" on Animal Planet. However, I've had a hard time finding out any information about this job, such as the official job title, job requirements, average pay, etc. If there is any information people have from experience, or if anyone knows any resources for additional information it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! =)

Hello, i'm a junior in high school , my gpa is somewhere between an 83 and an 86 (im not sure at the moment =p) and am interested in two fields of jobs. One being computers/technology, one being pharmacy. But if possible i would more enjoy a job in computers and technology seeing pharmacy requires a lot of school. What are some jobs that pay decent that have to do with building computers, or possibly overseeing a system of computers or anything of the sort?

I am an 18 year old interested in going into the medical field once I graduate. I am currently in a Health Sciences class through a program at my school. We recently watched a movie on radiology and as I have not been sure of what I want to do in the medical field, this video made me think more of maybe becoming an ultrasound technician. If you know any information on the duties, or if you are one yourself, could you give me a description of what you have to do? What kinds of roles are involved rather than looking at pregnant women (the most common one people know of.) What kind of schooling do you need to go through in order to be one? Any information you think would be helpful is great! Thank you!
