I recently joined the Navy and I am currently in the DEP. I joined as a Logistics Specialist and although I know the daily routines on paper I would like to hear from someone who has lived it. I wanna know what a normal day is like, the hours, the jobs you do, how often do you work with others, how often do you work independently and any other miscellaneous info. Any and all info on the subject would be greatly appreciated, thx :)

My brother decided to enlist in the U.S. Army Reserves, and before taking the ASVAB, he was assigned a automated logistics specialist (basically warehouse stuff). He got a 91 on the ASVAB, and he was reassigned a different job... Carpentry and Masonry specialist in the engineering unit. I don't know much about this stuff, but I want to do some research myself... What are the benefits of earning a higher score on the ASVAB? with his current score, what are some other options he can explore?
