Hello everyone, I worked at a biotech company for 4 years as a material handler (shipping and receiving) and the company recently shut down. I've been searching at different biotech companies but can't find anything that has to do working in the warehouse. I've search on websites such as monster.com, careerbuilder.com and biospace.com as well. Biotech are more for scientist not people from my field. I've been to science job fairs and felt discourage because non of the companies had any openings for me. I tried networking as well but still no openings. I want to continue my path in working in biotech but I can't find anything. By the way, my resume is updated but I can't find any companies with openings to send them out to.

Hola Canada :D I currently live in the United States and have decided that I want to move to Canada. However, while doing research for Canada migration it came up that DWI/dui is considered a criminal act in Canada. When I was 18/19 years old(27years old now), I had a DWI that was reduced to a simple diversion (I had to attend rehab-an alternative by the court). Can I still get a residency or work permit? I recently graduated from college with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice-Can my degree help dismiss my DWI and be granted permission to enter Canada? If I was to enter the country do you guys think I could get a job as a Police Officer? I also have lots of experience in Warehouse/Material Handler-shipping/receiving :D
