 | The question explains it, i am thinking of going to an engineering high school but of course it will focus on other stuff too but still. What kind of jobs can you get because i dont want to be a mechanic(no offence to any) but please help me!

 | I have been working in Saudi Arabia as an electrical engineer in operation and maintenance of buildings.
I have a bachelor degree in electrical engineering and having 4 years relevance experience (2 years in India 2 years in Saudi Arabia). I am looking for a job in Singapore. Does anybody know any job site, consultancy, agent, with contact details?

 | I have a two year degree in elctrical and mechanical maintenance. I like my current job a lot, but I'm concerned that over the next few years jobs in this field will become fewer and fewer with the current loss rate of manufacturing jobs . I am very diversified in my skills; mechanics, pnuematics, hydraulics,electrical, machining, PLC's and CNC's. .
Is this career going to be worth investing further training in the years to come? Would specialized certifications, such as ISA"s CIMM, IFPS's CFPPM, or electronics training be beneficial or should I just start training in another field? Because I work a rotating shift engineering and engineering technology, although the most likely choices, are out of the question. I have an interest in a computer career, but would this too be a dead end field in the years to come?
Thanks in advance for your USEFUL advise and comments.

| There is so many opinions out there about what the difference is between these two and which one has more oppurtunities and so on. I would love to know what the most direct difference is between these two fields, they seem so similar. Obviously the name Operations Manager hints at managing, but to me it seems like it is a more business-like approach to industrial engineering.

| My main goal after enlisting in the army is to become a Suffolk cop( which is very difficult to get in now) and as a back up i want to take an mos that can benefit me the most, and as a backup i want to become a mechanic. I want to know which mos is best to take to help me learn more about vehicles driven by people today.

 | We are installing a ceiling light. We've done them before but this one has the one black wire and 3 white wires . The problem is that the 3 white wires don't fit into the nut with the white wire from the light. I'm curious why there are 3 wires together? Some of our lights don't have that. Thanks for you help!
We installed a light in the kitchen earlier today. There was only one white wire and one black one in the ceiling .
In the hallway the ceiling has 3 white wires twisted together and one black wire.
I turned off the electricity, don't worry.

| Floor is hot 104 degrees. no water present on floor probably because of 2 layers of plastic for vapor barrier. how can i pinpoint the leak? I am maintenance supervisor for a nursing home and we have no hot water in showers
