 | When students fail to submit an assignment in the college classes I teach, they are most likely to attribute their tardiness to printer problems. It seems that for any given assignment, 10?f the students in the course will have problems printing their assignment. The assignments are, apparently, completed, but the students just were unable to print them. Is a 10?rinter failure rate the norm, or are my students just the unfortunate victims of bad luck?

 | Wikipedia says that public sector technicians can work in law enforcement communities. So this means you would work close with the police, right? I would love that. What kind of duties would this job entail, and what level of education do you need for it, like associate's degree, bachelor's, what?

 | I haven't used my HP printer in years. I know it still works, but because it has been sitting untouched in my dad's automotive repair shop all this time, its surface is covered with a layer of dust and dirt. I can tell water won't do the job; it really is extremely dirty. Is it safe to use a cleaner of some kind? And if so, what cleaner would be best? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

 | One of the printers in my office messed up this morning, and we are waiting for the repair guy to get here to fix it. He may not get here until tomorrow, and I need one of the jobs that are in line waiting to be printed in the spooler, im also worried about it getting deleted. To get an other copy of the file to print to a different printer, i have to pay a $15 fee. I just wanted to check to see if there is any way to reassign this to one of the other printers and how to do this?

I would like to get advice on printers requiring less maintenance cost on ink catridges.I understand lots of new all in one pritners have been marketed recently. Thanks.

 | Or are they accessible without having to open the printer up - if so, where the heck are they? and what do they look like?
The one (and only) reply received does not address the question but advises against a procedure that other claim successfully to have acomplished. For this reason I give marks for advice but not for answering the question. Thanks a lot, anyway.

 | My printer is crappy, it's ok for black & white stuff but when I print a picture it looks dotted and smudgy. I need one that prints semi-professional looking stuff. Preferably something that doesn't smudge when a little drop of water is spilt on it. Any advise?

 | I use a 24" pigment inkjet printer for printing banners for my own auto repair shops. I usually print on matte polypropylene. We have several banners 24" x 60" that are alternated daily. They get stained from being handled by greasy hands. I've been considering a cheap desktop cold laminator from eBay for about $220 shipped. Does anyone have any experience with how well these work?

 | Just had my PC repaired now trying to reinstall my HP office jet printer. The software would not download, I attempted to download up to date software from HP but this won't work either. What am I doing wrong.?
Correct I ought to have said 'install'. I am using Windows XP and that has not been altered. I will have to contact my repairer for help. Thanks

 | Whenever i try to print something this is what it says on the epson status monitor "General Error(at the top)Delete all print jobs and turn the printer off. Remove any foreign objects from inside the printer. After a few minutes, turn the printer back on." there isn't no foreign objects in or around it either. It also says "Please contact Epson" on the actual printer.
