There is so many opinions out there about what the difference is between these two and which one has more oppurtunities and so on. I would love to know what the most direct difference is between these two fields, they seem so similar. Obviously the name Operations Manager hints at managing, but to me it seems like it is a more business-like approach to industrial engineering.

I really like chemistry and was wondering what the difference between a chemistry major and chemical engineering major are? I'm good at math too. so basically I'm looking for the difference between them and the types of jobs you can do with each one. if there is anyone with either major who could tell me that would awesome but anyone can answer this. is it possible to double major with both of them?

Friend has a friend that hires for Chesapeake the natural gas company, hires people with any or no experience at $20 an hour, since they giving so much an hour w/o experience i know its got to be 1 hell of a hard job. If i get lucky and get the job i know ill be outside probably building something to get the gas with, does anyone know what id be doing?
