 | For example if started your schooling for a refrigeration and air conditioning certificate and you also got a mechanical engineering diploma after 2 years, what jobs could you do that are not directly a part of the trade. You could most likely get a job in a store selling the refrigeration and air conditioning parts but what else? Thanks

 | I have mainly been working in hospitality and retail but i really don't enjoy it. actually i hate it. i would like to get into electrical installation/engineering, refrigeration/air conditioning engineering or plumbing.
i'm confident i have the practical and intellectual ability to achieve this but i need to find an opportunity to train and get experience.
it seems like opportunities for a 27yo are far fewer than somebody a little younger, how can i overcome this?

 | Just looking at our options and curious what type of jobs could fit his qualifications. He's not a nuke. Our time to reenlist is approaching and I want to be sure we are making the best decision. Any advice from past submariners or any one educated in this process would be so appreciated! Thank you!

 | Im enlisting in the Navy and am looking at the Aviation Systems Operate rating. I really like the aviation aspect of the Navy and am curious what different jobs this will entail. Also what other aviation rates will allow me to fly in the helos, jets and planes? I cannot go in as a commissioned officer since I am halfway through my bachelors but am going to take advantage of the Navy's 100?uition to finish it up. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 | I have central air, it's an older model but does a good job. Is a box fan cheaper to run? What if I have to use 2 to get the same effect? Thanks.
That's really interesting about dehumidifying, does forced air heat do that too? Thanks for both answers =)

 | I'm currently in australia on a working holiday and I haven't struggled to find a job in every city I've been to. My next stop I'm thinking Toronto or Vancouver.
I'm a commercial air con technician, but I don't have the qualification (this hasn't seemed to be much of a problem in Australia)
I'm looking to do this or unskilled labour work etc.
Will I struggle to find a job in Canada?
