I'm interested getting my MBA on Luxury Brand Marketing. As I see many of the suggested jobs are into fashion something I'm not really interested in. Can I work Into Hotels, car manufacturers or other luxury goods companies with that major? Could you please give me a rough list in general of the possible careers? Thank You,

I'm 18, I have a passion for branding/marketing direction, I'm good with photoshop and aesthetical matters (though I've never taught myself animation) and solving creative problems (I have a portfolio of work to back it up). However, I cannot afford college (debt scares me), nor am I that enthusiastic about that environment. But it seems every job in this field makes it a point that a degree is "required" (perhaps it's to inflate their own self-importance, their not doctors for crying out loud). So, is it possible to ask for a job like this if I demonstrate my talent and that I can be an asset, bearing in mind I've never stepped foot in a college and have no actual experience with a real company before?

I am starting a field marketing job tomorrow, located in a boots store and need to sell a large number of lipsticks for a well-known make up brand. What are the best ways to approach people without it being awkward, and without looking like I just want to sell? Any opening lines? How do you close a sale without being pushy? How would you like to be approached when you are browsing to try a new product? Thanks!

Im taking a BA Hons Graphic Design degree next year at university. When I graduate I'd love to work in graphic design/branding/marketing at an airline. Are there a lot of jobs like this within airlines or do they go to external companies for their graphic design needs?

I am looking for a concise way to phrase something that sounds intelligent. One of the tasks that I did for a marketing job was to call businesses to see if they wanted to participate in our Casino membership discount program. We would list them in a brochure along with what the member would get if they presented their card to the vendor (discounted fares for their services, etc. ). The vendor would also advertise the casino in their business. Would that be called mutual promoting? I already have a bulleted resume written up, I just want to match words in my resume with key words in a specific job description, (partner, vendor, loyalty, campaign, etc). This is what I have right now. "Strengthened partnerships with external venders through membership discounts and mutual advertising." Thank you! Thank you for everyone's input so far. And just to set the record straight... vendor can also be spelled vender (dictionary.com) which is probably why Word didn't flag it. :)
