Well I think the headline up top pretty much gives you the premise of this question. But I want to know if by any chance any of you may know if the salary of an entry level position in Public Relations is average or below average with a bachelors degree. Also if you know anyone who happens to have worked in PR or if you yourself have worked in PR I would love it if you could give a small overview of what the career entails. Like I think that's what i want to do. Don't they like come up with ideas to make people look good? like a publicist? i cant decide im the advertising manager for my school paper so i sell ads and so do advertising and public relations tie into each other??

I've recently watched You Again starring Kristen Bell and this girl who looks like Megan Fox (but sadly doesn't act better :| ... uh, anyway), and Marnie, who is played ny Kristen Bell said she worked in PR. My college program seems in-lined with this, I think. Idk. That's why I'm asking. So what does one do in PR? This is so important. I need a job! Thank you. And it would be nice if you add in details of salary, especially when in Canada (Mississauga and Vancouver) and the US (California and New York,...and Oregon).
