I'm 25 - I've did art and photography up until age 18. I'd now like to move into Graphic Design (mainly online - but like to know some print skills too.) I'm thinking of taking a year out to do a course in London - can anyone give me any tips or recommend a course? I thought that this one looked pretty good: http://www.lcc.arts.ac.uk/courses/graphic_design/diploma_digital_design.htm I'm open to all suggestions - really appreciate your help with this!

I do not know the questions I just know how it is set up. I have all of the qualifications so how can I stand out and show them I am the one for the job. I really want this job and I do not want to be nervous!!

I already earned a BS in Engineering almost 4 years ago and now realize I would love to work in the graphic design or web design field. I know its mostly about talent and a good portfolio, but I know education is important too. Is it enough to get an Associate's degree from a community college or should I get one from the art institute online or something? I live in St. Louis so I don't know of too many art schoools around me with two year degrees. I prefer to not get a four year degree since I've already been through all that and I have to do this at night so I can work full time. I'll take any suggestions to help me get to where I want to go. Thanks!

I have an interview for an Asset Analyst position with a fixed income administrative services company. I'm not sure what type of questions to expect, as this will be my first time interviewing for this type of position. I graduated college about 3 1/2 years ago, but I've mostly been working temp jobs since then. I've worked at an investment management company (but in the call center) for about 6 months and I've worked at a bank lock box processing center for 2 1/2 years (both temp assignments). I was actually surprised when the company called me for this interview because 1) I actually applied for a Data Analyst position, but they said they want me to interview for Asset Analyst instead and 2) because I don't have prior experience in that position. What should I expect in my interview??

Ive taken some acting courses in college, but Ive never been in a play or volunteered or anything.. my role model is jlo. I really wanna be like her one day. This girl dropped everything to make it, but I already have a degree and I can work and fund for my dream ONCE i land a good job. But what r the steps to take? An acting coach? Is a reel necessary? I know headshots, but how do I even volunteer in indie films or no budgets? On craigslist? Do I need to be a member of some acting thing online? A short cut would be commercials. How can i get into commercials? Where do i apply, what do I need? thanks I say commercials and not modelling as a short cut bc Im kinda short. Also Im 23 yrs old, hispanic, live near Miami, Fl, not a bad place for the entertainment networking.
