I just started a new job as a marketing director for a construction company. One of my tasks will be to update the website, and increase our visibility online. Unfortunately, I have no experience with website design or online marketing, and am looking for a good source for basic information on the subject.
I will have a job interview at a graphic design and marketing agency soon. A question. How much does it cost and How many hours does it take to develop an
1. E-catalogue for a professional company
2. a professional website for a midsize company, small agency
3. a professional newsletter...
This should also involve the development and strategy finding....
My brother just graduated in June and is currently waiting tables. What sort of job employers would be looking to hire him?
I'm 25 - I've did art and photography up until age 18. I'd now like to move into Graphic Design (mainly online - but like to know some print skills too.)
I'm thinking of taking a year out to do a course in London - can anyone give me any tips or recommend a course? I thought that this one looked pretty good:
I'm open to all suggestions - really appreciate your help with this!
What is the best way to prepare for a job interview where you will meet with several people at the same time asking you a set of questions already prepared? I do not know the questions I just know how it is set up. I have all of the qualifications so how can I stand out and show them I am the one for the job. I really want this job and I do not want to be nervous!!
Hi all, I am 16 year old British A Level student studying Business and Economics, IT and Science. After A Levels I really want to get into the advertising and marketing industry. I already earned a BS in Engineering almost 4 years ago and now realize I would love to work in the graphic design or web design field. I know its mostly about talent and a good portfolio, but I know education is important too. Is it enough to get an Associate's degree from a community college or should I get one from the art institute online or something? I live in St. Louis so I don't know of too many art schoools around me with two year degrees. I prefer to not get a four year degree since I've already been through all that and I have to do this at night so I can work full time. I'll take any suggestions to help me get to where I want to go. Thanks!
What route are you going to take?
I know many people ask for auditions online, but anyone else that is planning on becoming an actor another way?
This is for a database. It will list the different types of contacts for a job. I came up with department manager, director of public affairs, human resources director, other, owner, shift supervisor, and vice president. Can you think of anymore?
What should I mention when introducing Steve Jobs?

I have an interview for an Asset Analyst position with a fixed income administrative services company. I'm not sure what type of questions to expect, as this will be my first time interviewing for this type of position. I graduated college about 3 1/2 years ago, but I've mostly been working temp jobs since then. I've worked at an investment management company (but in the call center) for about 6 months and I've worked at a bank lock box processing center for 2 1/2 years (both temp assignments). I was actually surprised when the company called me for this interview because 1) I actually applied for a Data Analyst position, but they said they want me to interview for Asset Analyst instead and 2) because I don't have prior experience in that position. What should I expect in my interview??
I am completing a business plan on providing a multi-media performance portfolio/resume for students in the arts and in athletics. I am attempting to seek "proof of concept" for this business idea and would be interested in feedback from people in the following target markets. Schools (Sr. High, community college, universities, music-theatre-arts academies), private teaching institutes, community theartre, summer stock, equity & non-equity performers, etc.
I'm curious about this title. How does it rank in a general hospital chain of command and does anyone know an average salary?
Is there a big demand for them? I'm trying to decide if I should major in Interior Design or Web Development.
Ive taken some acting courses in college, but Ive never been in a play or volunteered or anything.. my role model is jlo. I really wanna be like her one day. This girl dropped everything to make it, but I already have a degree and I can work and fund for my dream ONCE i land a good job. But what r the steps to take? An acting coach? Is a reel necessary? I know headshots, but how do I even volunteer in indie films or no budgets? On craigslist? Do I need to be a member of some acting thing online?
A short cut would be commercials. How can i get into commercials? Where do i apply, what do I need?
I say commercials and not modelling as a short cut bc Im kinda short. Also Im 23 yrs old, hispanic, live near Miami, Fl, not a bad place for the entertainment networking.
And if so how?
If not, what are some good agents and/or agencies that would take an actor with no experience in?
I am getting into Mk and want to mainly work online. I am a guy and nervous about getting into the business. My director thinks that I will have great success. However I am still very nervous. Any thoughts on that also?
