I want to start work on a bachelors degree in a related field, but am not sure what a good path would be. What would be a good bachelor degree to pursue after receiving my MOA associates? I don't really know anyone in my desired field to ask personally. I was thinking some sort of business management degree or something possibly? Medical office management bachelors? Any help would be great!!!! Thanks!

I graduated in May with a BA in Communication. Ideally I'd like to do Public Relations since it was my main focus in my classes. I have graphic design knowledge/experience in that I'm very familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite. Everywhere I look wants experience. I messed up and didn't do an internship college, for several reasons, that could have given it to me. I feel like I've looked everywhere online - I mainly just search for "communication" sometimes changing it up to PR or event planning/coordinator. Does anyone have any ideas of places I could look? I've looked at a lot of University sites, I'd be interested in working for a museum, for the state (any, really)....only thing I'm kind of not wanting to do is work for a hospital. I'm looking for suggestions of types of places to look into for jobs and/or search engines for jobs, entry level or not. Thanks!

Im 21 weeks pregnant and SO excited to be having a baby. However this is our first and in the last couple of days the reality of it has really started to set it and its a bit scary! I keep thinking to myself how we dont REALLY know a ton about babies, of course we have neices and nephews and have been around our friends children etc...but thats a WHOLE lot different then actually having your own baby to care for. I just started worrying about everything - like what will happen if Im sick with the flu and my fiance is working - who will look after the baby ? Or do I just risk the baby getting sick around me?! What if were both sick and we give the baby the flu? Will our relationship completely change because of the baby ? Will we be financially ok when Im not working and on Mat leave? My fiance is a cop and I work as a public relations/marketing coordinator - we live VERY comfortably now and have alot of disposable income...we own our own house, both own our vehicles etc...but once Im on mat leave and we have the baby will we suddenly feel strapped for cash all the time?? What if I cant b****t feed - if the baby wont latch on or my milk doesnt come in? What if the baby just doesnt like us, and screams all the time when we hold it? Did other moms have this sort of panic before the first baby?! I just am so worried and I want to be such a great mom, I just want this baby to have a great life!

How do I write a cover letter for a Vet Assistant Job? Currently I am enrolled online in a Veterinary Science degree program. I have worked at the front desk at a vet hospital for almost two years and I want to start doing more with the animals. They tell me I'm too good at what I do to move into the back (that's crap) so I'm trying to write a nice cover letter that incorporates my skills at a front desk coordinator, the skills I've learned at school as well as the skills I've learned in the hospital to get an assistant job. Here is what I currently do: Assisted veterinarian in a variety of animal health care duties as well as held and restrained animal during procedures • Communicated information clearly and accurately • Committed to the assistance and support of others while maintaining a cheerful and helpful attitude • Built rapport with customers through effective and precise communication • Assisted customers with inquiries and provided all pertinent information • Recognized for delivering quality service and products and for developing loyal customers, resulting in impressive sales • Created public relations campaigns that significantly increased local awareness of our hospital So how to I tie all this together? Please help!

I got my B.S. in Sociology in May of 2008. I have been in sales for the past three years and I stayed in sales after obtaining my degree. I am finding it very hard to find a career outside of sales, and especially one that is in my major. I would like to work for a non-profit organization. I am finding it very difficult, however, to get out of sales and find a different job. I know the economy is bad right now and a lot of people are not hiring, but does anyone have any tips on how to find a career in my field?
