During the beginning of summer, there was a major construction job started on a 2 way 2 lane road. This is an important road (route shortcut) to get from point A to point B. 8 months later, a section of the road is nasty and muddy with huge fat 3 foot cones blocking it off and traffic is driving in a zig zag lane (1 on each side) in the middle. Once in a while, you will see people out there directing traffic and doing some sort of work. Why is it taking so long? Anyone have any ideas? It's frustrating!!! I live in Delaware by the way.

I am a 19 year old college student and I am pretty physically fit. I was looking at our school's website for jobs and there are some pipe digging construction jobs available. I lift weight regularly and can bench about 150, I also work at a post office job where I am lifting and transporting semi-heavy boxes all day. Will I get laughed out of the room if I apply for this job or do you think I have a shot?

I am going to take my Project Management Professional Certification exam soon. I also have 5 years experience in Project Management of IT projects. With OBAMA's new stimulus there will be a lot of construction jobs, including Project Management. I have good Project Management skills but not a lot of skills in Construction (other than personal home improvement projects). How do I get into the new industry using the same skills?

The construction phase of the Keystone XL pipeline will mean temporary construction jobs, but once construction is complete it will only require a staff of approximately 120 workers to keep the pipeline operating. Furthermore, completion of the pipeline will mean the loss of thousands of trucking and railroad jobs, and lead to an increase in fuel prices in North America. The Keystone XL Pipeline is not a job creator, it's a job destroyer, so why are Republicans behind the 8-ball on this one and swallowing everything TransCanada tells them?
