I really want to work at La Senza, a lingerie store in Montreal. I would work and study at the same time, so its more of a student job. When is a good time to apply for it? I have already been a cashier last summer, so I have some experience. I really badly want this job. Any tips on how I can get it? Is now a good time to apply or not?

I recently quit a good job to focus on my last three semesters at SJSU. Now I'm looking into on-line student jobs for income. I have looked into the on-line job postings that are posted on campus, but weary of investing in them due to the high cost of fees and membership. Are they legitimate, if so, do they work? If not, anyone have any ideas. I am trying to stay away from the 9-5 because I will be going full-time each semester. Thanks for your help in advance.

I am from a central european country and I am looking for some student jobs in England for the summer, as I would like to practice English. I don't really wish to e********y but to spend as much time as possible there. I am looking for some trustworthy websites which are to offer things of this kind. Thank you for your help. Addition: Student jobs are jobs specified for student. (Soldier, MP, Miner are not student jobs :P)

I'm currently at uni and need a job and was wondering what some good student jobs are. I'm a 24yo male and have very very minimal retail experience (don't like it that much), I have a medium rigid truck licence and am a good handy man. I'm pretty keen to try most jobs, just wanted one that won't be too full on as I'll have my studies to concentrate on, and one that'd be flexible. What type of jobs would you suggest? I don't want any Internet based jobs or get rich quick schemes thanks, so please don't post any.

I am finding that most companies are asking for a lot of skill/experience but are almost always unwilling to train. After getting to the point where low wage student jobs are no longer acceptable to live by, companies seem to be looking for only experienced workers at student level wages. Anyone have any experience/stories/advise on career worthy jobs willing to train AND pay a career worthy wage? What was it, what did they want, what were you lacking, how did you get their attention, anything you would like to share at all?

I am currently a student at Purdue, freshman. I need a student loan of about $15,000. Unfortunately, I would not be able to get a cosigner, as their credit is bad. I have fair credit, 673, 676, 680 from the 3 reporting agencies. I have never missed a payment. Is there anywhere I can get a loan ex: Sallie Mae, credit union, anything. I have worked very hard to get where I am today, especially being a first generation student. I dont want to have leave because I cant afford it. I also have 2 student jobs, so I have an income.

It's going to be a student job for a drive in supermarket. The position is basically you take the orders online from people and then run around trying to find what the people want and put it in a box to prepare for them. It is going to be 21 degrees on the day (celcius lol) , I don't think a suit would be appropriate considering the position but heels or trainers? jeans or a summer dress?
