In this economy it is impossible to find jobs, especially if you are a teen starting out. I live in the suburbs and I need money so I can save for college. Even if it is just a winter break job. I plan on getting a summer job, but right now I am thinking about winter break. I also get my license in march which is when I can work after school. I would be great at waitressing, hosting, retail (I'm an aspiring fashion designer), as well as other teen jobs. I just need some guidance.

What sort of questions should I ask an interviewer for a teen job when they ask "Do you have any questions for me?" Saying 'No' would look bad and like I was unprepared.

Aircraft have been my passion for years. As a teen job, I would just love to work on aircraft. Maybe not the large things if that is not possible, but I have heard of many other minors that work on vehicles like, cars. I know that it is hard to believe, and not just any kid is intelligent and mature enough to do this, but I am of the unusual, and gifted. I would like to start during somewhere in my teenage years. I am 13. Any ideas on where to get started?

While writing my resume I realized that I really only have experience in childcare and writing. Not exactly helpful when applying to a grocery store. I'd like to find a job where I can utilize my skills, but not many teen jobs are available in the department of all things word-related. Any ideas for an occupation I might actually enjoy?

I'm 23 years old and am trying to get back into the working field. I worked when I was younger, but since I was a teen, I worked mostly summer jobs (I had two that were 6 months in ages between 16-20). There are long gaps in between my jobs (since they were mostly summer jobs). I haven't worked in 3 years(since I was 20), just because I haven't had to. I was living with family, and later my boyfriend (now husband) has been taking care of my bills. We also got married and I started school within the past 3 years, so I didn't really want to work with all of that going on since I wasn't in a position where I had to. Now we're not desperate, but we would like to move forward financially and I really could use a job. But potential employers seem to have a problem with the gaps and dates in my resume. What's a better way to explain the dates other then saying "I didn't really need to work up until this point"? BTW I was always a good employee, I left my employers on good terms. References aren't a problem. I have worked some better then the average teen jobs too; bartending, marketing, web design etc, so I have decent stuff on my resume.
