Child Care Aide Job Questions & Answers

I'm starting a job at a nursery school as a child care aid and I don't know what I should wear. I know not to wear anything revealing or anything I don't want to get messed up. What would be the ideal attire? Specific examples are preferred. By the way I'm 18, 5'3 1/2, and about 110 lbs.

I divorced my ex-husband a couple of years ago, since then he's agreed only to pay child care expenses for our 8 year old. He refused to get a job to help me more. How do I go about requesting child support but also ensure that he keeps paying day care? Is there a 800-help line number that I should call to get the paperwork started? How can I get legal aide?

I'm applying for a Teacher's Aide job in an elementary school nearby. I'm 18, graduated high school, but I've never held a job before, besides pet & child care. How can I get this job? I would really love it.

In May, I will be graduating from college with an Associates Degree in Counseling. Recently, I finished two internships-- One as a Drug & Alcohol Counselor and the other as a Life Skills Teachers. Both experiences were highly beneficial. I've been looking for a job in the field for the past 3 months and haven't found anything suitable. So I have agreed to take this part time job at an assisted living facility as a Dietary Aide. They pay $13.89 per hour. Is that good pay? Family and friends are urging me to re-think this, as they have found other job opportunites for me online at a Child Care Center and would like me to apply. I don't know what to do. I need the money but don't want to mess up my future. Please help! If I don't like this job and get the job at the Day Care Center. I can always quit, right? Without it looking bad?

Please offer some tips and help and read my whole question, thank you in advance for helping. When my child goes into kindergarten what can I do to make sure she has a good education experience? How can I teach and tell her the importance of education? And when she is in school, how often should I keep in touch with her teacher to check in on her progress? Is it okay to email a teacher concerns or better to call or see her face to face? What should I do as a parent when my child is in kindergarten?

I am looking to get into psychology but I don't want to go to graduate school. People have scared me away and said the competition for clinical psychologists is fierce in the US. I'd like to put in 4 years or so. I'd be happy with being a mental health aid. What kind of jobs can you get with a bachelors?

I was wanting a job as a kindergarten aide since I am currently taking coursed to become a teacher. Do you have to be certified to be an aide? If not what do employers look at to make a decision in hiring for that position? I have never worked in child care just as home health aides and such. And for the last five years I have been a receptionist. Thank you
