I don't have a degree but if I were to obtain other required qualifications, such as national vocational levels and have child care experience, would that be enough to start (and keep) a career in say a nursery or similar child care job?

Right now, I am volunteering for the boys and girls club to teach children a program. After, or even now, I would like to find a job in child care, maybe something after school. At the moment, I am finishing up my BA so I can teach at the high school level, but I really want a job in child care for now though. Advice?

I am a single mother who wants to work to make ends meet but cannot afford child care, even the goverment discounted childcare comes out to about 30 dollars a day. What are some real jobs I could do that would generate some decent money and that are not scams? I have looked all over the net and most everything requires money upfront.

I’ve almost finished my Child Care and Education Level 3 qualification, I feel like getting a job as a Nanny, Nursery Nurse or teaching assistant would lead me to a bit of a dead end. Once I’ve got a job like that do I just go on doing the same thing until I die? I’m not sure I want to… It’s really getting me down. How else could I use this qualification?
