I would love to work some place neat and watch animals and research, and be outdoors. I would love to have a good pay, too, but I don't really mind if its not. Some job other than a vet where you maybe get to be with real, wild animals. Please explain the job and what degrees, etc, you need (schooling.) Plus, say where (what country) this job usually takes place.

Basically what is says. I want to help nature and animals preventing extinction in both categories. I am also a falconer so I want to teach about animals as in a zoo. What job field is this and what degree do I need for this area. I start college this spring.

I am very interested in working in a field that has to do with animals. I always wanted to become a vet but i would have to go to school across the state and i really don't think that would work for me. But I was wondering what other kind of jobs are there that work with animals that make a decent amount of money? Thanks for you help!

1 answer - Asked By: catie x3 - 2/17/2009
I am looking to get into psychology but I don't want to go to graduate school. People have scared me away and said the competition for clinical psychologists is fierce in the US. I'd like to put in 4 years or so. I'd be happy with being a mental health aid. What kind of jobs can you get with a bachelors?

I am a sophomore in college and my goal is to become a vet. However I'm worried if I don't get into vet school, I won't have a backup plan that I still love. What other jobs are there that I can still work in this field without resorting to a low pay vet tech?

Some of my background: A ton of volunteer work with the special olympics, salvation army, and a few other community rehabilitation based programs Played college football at a major program. Currently I am working at a juvenile home as a youth counselor. I guess I just want to get a vibe of what my future opportunities may be and what I should pursue my masters degree in. Thanks!

Homework help. I live in Canada, I'm 15. I have an assignment from HCE (Health Career Education) and I have to pick out a job and figure out what university, college, or trade school I'd have to go to. I think something with animals would be interesting. I don't have to do this job, (Of course), but it has to be something that I'd enjoy, and be interested in learning about. Can you give me a list of jobs in Canada to do with animals, that'd really help me out, thanks. :)
