I'm prior enlisted and about to go to MEPS on Monday and wanted to know beforehand what the Army would throw at me as far as jobs that they would offer. I scored 90 on my asvab and line scores across the board are all pretty high. I also have a bachelor's degree though I don't want to become an officer just yet.

I want to go to school to become a large animal veterinarian but incase it doesn't work out my mom wants me to have a back up plan. I want to stay in the agriculture field and still be able to work with animals but I don't know what other jobs are available. I want to work with the horses, cows, pigs, chicken, and all the farm animals if possible. If I cant make it into vet school, I may consider becoming an agriculture teacher but it doesn't pay well. If anyone knows of other job options please let me know! thanks!

I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do in life (am a freshman) and my school has a great engineering program, but it is very selective and takes eight credits my junior and senior year. But I'm not even sure if I should apply because I have no idea what engineers really do! Even if I do apply and get in it's two credits my junior year and I can quit if I hate it, but I would rather not waste the credits. So, can anyone tell me what chemical engineers really do?!

I have known businessmen who make good money, but did not pass the 5th grade, can't read, write or spell. Their wife, or lawyer does it all for them. So people don't be mislead when it says you have to have a master's degree. Even these people don't know how to spell and speak as well. Your thoughts.

I am a US mexican american citizen and am looking into applying for vocational schools that are accredited in Hospitality and Tourism. Now, I am aware that in order to be approved for a study visa I must show how I will be able to pay for my tuition and living expenses. With taking out student loans, will this be sufficient enough to prove how i will be paying for my tuition? Also, I plan on applying for a student work visa. Yes, I know that it will not be enough to cover all my living expenses, but with some money saved up will it be enough for them to accept me or will they reject me? BQ: Best province to study in? BQ2: Ways that Canada is much better than the US? (excluding the obvious low crime rate, universal health care, multiculturism) BQ3: Jobs that are in high demand, In Canada, as of now? Thanks to all!
