Hello! I am currently university student in Canada and have questions regarding future career. My major is computer science right now and I would like to add one minor program. I heard that many students who are in computer science major take economics as their minor program. However, I don't think that I am into economics. (I took economics courses in this semester, but I got bad grades.) I am very good at mathematics, so I would like to take mathematics as my minor program. My school website states that careers for mathematics program is following: Statistician, Industrial Mathematics, Operations Research, Mathematics Researcher, Financial Analyst Could anyone can tell me what both programs related careers I can have if I take major as computer science and minor as mathematics? (These major/ minor able to get the job in big companies, such as Microsoft or Sam Sung?) If computer science and mathematics are not a good match for major/ minor, what program will you recommend me as a minor?

Like as a portfolio analyst or something with a wealth management company. I was applying to jobs in financial services but now I'm thinking about taking more classes part-time. I guess I am feeling a little lazy or like I don't know what I want to do. Would it be good to do a masters in applied math even if I don't know how it would help me?
