Pump Operator Job Questions & Answers

I know this may sound like a silly question but I would really like to know. I was wondering if there were jobs outside of working on "aircraft" in which I could use my skills. I have ex coworkers that work on turbine windmills but that is all I know. I would like to know if I have more options than aircraft and windmills.

This is in regard to my husband.. so if I sound stupid about something.. just remember I'm a girl.. and know nothing about this stuff!! My husband is looking for a better paying job. We see to be stuck in a rut with financial issue running wild! He has 7 years experience in his current job as a well operator for House wells/ irrigation wells.. specializes in submersible pumps. He does all the things your suppose to do.. or know how to do with these types of wells hence the 7 years experience. This is just not very good pay where we are from and we are ready to be out of the rut. Is there ANY specific jobs he should look at that will better qualify him with his already experience for the drilling rig.. or would he just be better starting out as a rig hand?? Don't know where to start.. and I don't think he has prior experience with drilling rigs for oil so this would be his first. Sorry if I sound like im a blabbering mess.. just need a little help and a finger to point us in the right direction!!! Thanks in advance!

I need to have someone do it for me as I do not have the expertise to do it. Any idea of where I can buy the part after market ? Is a Ford dealer the best place or would you trust a small garage operator with the job?

It is an interview for a call center operator position at an army base. I was planning on wearing a blue long sleeve button down shirt, a charcoal gray pencil skirt and black pumps with a medium heel. Is it ok to not wear a full suit? I am in the process of losing weight and do not want to spend a ton of money on clothes that i wont be able to wear after a month. Thank you!

Hi, as you may have guessed, I am thinking about dropping out of highschool. I don't have bad reasons, it's just that school makes me physically ill. I've almost been out for a whole month because every time I get my car and start thinking about where I'm headed, I get physically ill. I throw up, feel light headed, and my head starts to pound. I've missed so much school that I've lost credit in all of my classes. I'm a really focused writer, and I'd love to do something with it. I just can't really think of much I could do without a GED. PS- I use the term successful loosely. Just kind of, not having to flip patties for a living and go home to eat Ramen Noodles every night.

I would like to study petroleum engineering and I'm debating my choice over and over again. I've done my research and come to the conclusion that the pay is high, but I'm just not sure. Don't get me wrong, all my friends have decided to study mechanical, chemical and electrical engineering. I just want to do something different. I also would like to work in a large country like America. Will my dreams be crushed? ;o Thanks! ;3 <3
