My dream job is to be a Marketing or Project Coordinator for Discovery Communications. I have applied to several similiar postings over the past year with no response. I am qualified for the jobs I apply for (B.S. in Marketing, internship at a television network, 2 yrs marketing experience) and I am a great employee with excellent references, I just don't know what I could possibly being doing wrong. I have had several offers from other large companies recently, but I haven't accepted them becuase I just can't give up on my dream job yet. I would really appreciate any tips or recomendations from Discovery employees or previous employees. Thanks.

I've frequented many sites and submitted MANY resumes with little to no returns. I'm a Project Coordinator with 2 years experience willing to settle for Data Entry Clerk while I finish school. The job market is hard I know but I also know someone know something more than I do.

I currently live in Toronto, Canada and I am looking to change my environment and work experience by moving to the UK. I am in the construction field, I am currently a project coordinator with about a year experience and a college diploma. I want to live somewhere that is not too expensive where it won't be too difficult to find a job. I really like England but I'd like to live in the city or not too far from it, I'm a city boy. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have worked as a project coordinator and am currently unemployed. Would it behoove me to get a project management certification or do you pretty much still have to have the project management experience to get the job. I don't want to waste my money going back to school if it isn't going to benefit me. Thanks.

Now,I feel like I have learned a lot, and worked hard. Our company doesnt have much work going on right now, but I am working very hard everyday. I deserve a raise, how do I ask?

I know start ups cant afford to pay as much as a major coorperations, but i am expected to work as an editor, project coordinator, designer and as the executive administrator! This is in the chicago area. Is there a minimum I should accept? i know there is also potential for growth as the company gains popular (or lay offs on the other end of the spectrum)...i am willing to accept the risk. but i dont want to get taken advantage of.

I have a background in IT development and project management and am looking to make a career change. I'm interested in doing something related to Education, but do not necessarily want to teach. What other options are out there? I am willing to get additional training, so please don't assume I need (or want) to use any of my technical skills.

I have 5 employees, our projects usually go through about 8-9 stages of development with different people doing different tasks. Each project gets touched by usually 3-4 different employees. What is the best method of keeping track of this kind of thing? Would a software program be best or a filing system or a color coding system etc.
