I was terminated two days prior to completing my one year probationary period. A sexual accusation complaint by a plant employee lead to my automatic termination. Of course the plant employees know about federal inspectors jobs and when they started. So I got the good ole texas style yankie, white boy go home treatment. Everybody knows it was a set up. My question is will I be red flagged for future gov employ even if I apply to a differnt agency. Can my exemployer (USDA) share details about my termanation with other goverment agencies?

In this case I am talking about a building inspector. If his job is to enforce codes, and he doesn't do it, who is it that busts HIM for not obeying the law that gave him that responsibility? In this instance there is a building that has no certificate of occupancy, and isn't even finished, but it belongs to his friend, so he is allowing the friend to live there even though the building violates codes. I am talking about a very small community, and the code enforcement office has a total of three people. The guy in charge is aware of the status of the home, but has chosen not to enforce the code that says you can't live in a house without a certificate of occupancy. He answers directly to the town supervisor, who, for some reason, lets this guy get away with this stuff all over the place. The town attorney won't do anything either. I've asked them both. So, someone should be responsible for making ALL of them obey the laws on the town's books, but no one will!

I really like food and would like a career that pertains to food. I did at first want to be a chef but it doesn't pay well and I rather not be overwhelmed by debt. I would like to know how would I go about becoming a food inspector and if the job pays well. I will be a senior in high school this fall and I've already taken 2 foods classes (one being a serve safe). I'm also taking pro-start next year. Any advice will be appreciated.

When buying a house, most buyers choose to have the house inspected by a private inspector. But how are these guys able to inspect an occupied home effectively, especially one that's loaded with clutter and heavy furniture? For example, the stuff will be blocking most of the electrical outlets, so he won't be able to do a good electrical inspection. I'm sure these guys prefer vacant homes.

Lots of coverage, not a lot of detail about the new stimulus package. What kind of jobs are supposed to be being created? How do unemployed citizens find information about which jobs will be created in their local areas, and how to apply for these jobs or appropriate training programs?
