My uncle is looking to get a job as a usda food inspector or quality control manager for a food company here in california. He asked me if the job market was pretty good since we have a lot of agricultural stuff, but I'm not sure. Does anybody know how the market is for those types of jobs here? It can be anywhere in the state.

I am 26 I have a good job making 48000 a year without college, but I am getting a bit board with where I work. My question is how lucky am I? h*************u and how much do you make a year without college? This will give me an idea on how good or bad is it out there job hunting. I am a quality control inspector and I have been working for the same job for 5 years from $9 to $23.08. Will it be worth starting over?

I work as a Quality Control Inspector at a Manufacturing plant. The town is small and the company is family owned. Their pay has alot to do with an incentive production plan. I work in QC so there is no incentive for me for I do not run production equipment. I have an Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology. I feel that my degree is being overlooked and I should be making more than just 11 bucks per hr. The nat'l average is 35,000/yr in my field and I do good to make 25,000 per yr. Can anyone help me??

I studied Business, I love dealing with people, the more people I get to talk to in a day, the happier I am. I wanted to work in human resources, but they wouldn’t give me a job anywhere because I had no experience. I took a job in Quality Control translating the process manuals. I got so familiarized with everything they made me technical writer, then they made me quality inspector, and now I am a production coordinator. I got promoted so much in 3 years, it made other people with engineering degrees jealous. I’m really good at what I do, but that doesn’t mean I like it. I still want to be in human resources, I’ve gone to many job interviews these past 3 years, but I still have no experience, no one seems to want to give me a job in that area, and now I’m used to making good money to just start working at some low-paying position. How can I get started in human resources, and still make what I’m making right now?

I am currently in the last year of school . i would like to become a commercial pilot . but i've recently had doubts of the scope that the aviation industry would have in the next ten yrs(which presume would be the average time for me to get a cpl). is it a good idea to get a degree in aviation as soon as i am done with school . should i opt for another alternative degree before gettin into aviation , incase i don't make it out as a pilot? what other courses would be ideal to secure a job.

In a factory? Is it the same thing? Is it classed as a semi-skilled job or does that depend on the individual job, and training given etc?

I love animals and really want to do a degree based on them, i am good at science and really enjoy biology. The trouble is the only degree that mostly comes up is animal management, this degree really interests me and i would love to do it but my mum says it won't lead to any jobs or good ones anyway. Any suggestions for other degree's and interesting jobs to do with animals that aren't a vet working in the same room all day? Thank you :)
